Worse at kicker dolphins or broncos

We better draft another kicker with a 6th or 7th rounder...I have lost faith in Sturgis. Denver lost their kicker because he couldn't stop boozing but Prater got picked up.
 
Don't need to draft a kicker...you get them in FA...only idiots like Ireland take a kicker in the 5th...

The Raiders used a first on Janikowski. I think 7th rounders are ok for kickers.

Prater hasn't been good in Detroit either. He's been nearly as bad as Sturgis has and got bailed out when he missed the game winner vs the Falcons. Lucky he got a 2nd chance and made it.

We do? He's 16-20 with 1 miss that was over 50, 1 that was blocked and the other 2 weren't bad misses. Plus he's perfect on extra points and he's decent on kickoffs.

He's nowhere near the best but he's not the worst.

If I remember correctly that was on him and it was a 30ish something fg.

And they have been nothing short of a disaster. Not a great example.

I dont mind spending a draft pick on a great prospect but there are so many potential quality kickers floating around in free agency i dont see why we should need to. Hell, i dont see why we need to wait until the draft. Give our guys the day off tomorrow(because they played great, not because of this particular subject), and host kickers. Sign the best guy. If he practices better throughout the week than Sturgis, cut Sturgis before the next game.

Jets took Mike Nugent in the 2nd, Stephen Gostkowski was drafted by the Patriots in the 4th, Alex Henery (who's worse than Sturgis and out of the league now) was drafted by Philly in the 4th in 2011. It's not uncommon but I do think it's unnecessary.

I like Kyle Brindza from Notre Dame...big leg, gets really good distance on kickoffs.
