I'm as optomistic as everyone else on this board and I dont think we are done for the season yet.......

BUT

just for topic of conversation...... "IF" the experts were somehow predicted us correct (which would never happen) .. and we only won 4-5 Games all season Long..... Who is the TEAM you would be most worried about with a worse record than us that would spend their pick on Leinert

Yes i know that alot of people here feel he is over rated , or under rated but figuratively speaking. Which Team with less than 4-5 wins at the end of this season will need the QB of the future!~

well, fact is that the fins are not going to have a top 4 pick. no way. the texans, 49ers, Green Bay, browns, and even the vikings will probubly have the high picks. and unless the fins are willing to trade this years 1st, and 2nd, a 2nd day pick, and next years 1st, i dont see the fins drafting leinart.

i see Rivers a more likly option.

why would San fran or Green bay spend a pick when they just drafted rodgers and smith....... and i highly doubt minnesotas first need would be a QB

like i said IF <-------- IF we had 4 wins.. which team do u see finishing with LESS than that drafting a QB with their first pick

i honestly think Houston might be the only problem.

nervous huh....

POSSSSSSSIBLY Arizona..

but i can see them pulling off a good streak of wins with their offense heating up

those teams may not draft a QB, but that just makes them more likly to trade down with another team looking to sign leinart.

but ok, IF the fins end with 4 wins, which i dont see happening, and leinart is still on the board when they pick, than yes, if i was a fins fan i would want to draft him. BUT, if the fins did that, i would keep Gus as the QB for a season. then start Leinart the following season.

49ers aren't drafting a qb.

If Texans draft a QB than Carr would be available. I still think he could be a good QB. They need a LT MUCH more.

Browns might want a QB, but they did draft Frye.

Vikings can't give up on Culpepper yet.

Green Bay drafted a QB in the first last year. I doubt they will draft a qb

In fact if the LT are as good as people said they are there is a good chance that the first 3 picks will be LTs.

leinart is the closest thing to a sure thing at QB that we have seen in many many years. if the giants were willing to give up 2 1st round picks to move up 4 spots for eli, im sure some team will be willing to trade that much to move up and take leinart.

maybe its just me, but i can not see leinart being on the board at #5.

I'd much rather go out and a find an available QB if David Carr or Daunte Culpepper were available. Then to take an unproven QB and have to groom him, especially if it were Leinart who doesn't impress me at all. I'd love a Vince Young, but we're not going to get that high of a pick anyway. We'll have around 6-7 wins and probably get a pick around 10-13, not enough for a solid QB.

To trade

I thought we were in the worst case scenerio? O.M.G!!! You mean it could be worse than it already is?

Cleveland or Detroit would definately take him. Arizona could too...Depends on what the rest of the QB crop looks like when april rolls around.

San Fran - They Got Alex

Texans - Got Carr and would be dumb to let him go.

Minnesota - Daunte Culpepper, they need to uprgrad at other positions.

Green Bay - They Have Aaron Rodgers

Titans - McNair is going to retire soon, they dont like Volek as long term answer and Norm Chow is the Offensive Coordinator. I think we have a winner.

Matt Leinert will be a Titan.

10-13, not a solid QB, wasnt Leftwhich drafted then and Big Ben they are both very very solid QB and i would love to have both
