I say Randy Mueller. But Rick Spielman was pretty horrible too. Your thoughts?

2nd round pick for Lamar Gordon? lol

Rick Spielman, there is no contest

Agree, not even close. 2nd rounder for Feeley and didnt he and Wanny use a 2nd round pick for LB Eddie Moore. LOL, they were terrible. They set this team back 10 years with their drafting. Same thing that hapened to Chicago when Wanny was there.

I actually met Eddie Moore at a Bank of America in Davie in August of 2003. His knee was in a brace or something. He signed my media guide. Maybe I can sell it on ebay for $3.00.

Spielman hands down, I don't think this is even debatable. A 2nd rounder for Feeley, I believe a 3rd for Lamar Gordon, and lets not forget the awful drafts that set us back years. In his defense, I suppose you can say Wannstedt did have GM powers for a short while. With that being said, Spielman worst GM in Dolphins history by far.

Randy Mueller. Ted Ginn (and his family) when he could have had Willis or Revis, then taking John Beck in the second.

Also traded Welker, who would be our best receiver now, for a pick that we used to take a player (Satele) we eventually had to get rid of.

Plus, he was Saban's aide when they chose Culpepper over Brees, possibly worst move in franchise history.

To top it off, he was the one who endorsed hiring Cam and was in on the whole process.

I believe Spielman was only in charge of the 04 draft, which at least produced Vernon Carey. He was promoted above Wanny that spring, which of course caused a huge mess.

But yeah, the Feeley and Gordon moves were pretty bad.

Sending Welker to New England is one of the worst moves in Dolphins history, if not the worst.

Speilman.. Not only were the Feely and Gordon deals embarrassments, but this is the same guy who passed on Anquan Boldin for Eddie Moore.

His boneheaded moves definitely went far in setting this franchise back.

I think Spielman was the worst GM in franchise history over the period of his tenure, but Mueller was by far worse in a single year as GM. Saban pretty much called all the shots despite Mueller's presence.
