Worst offseason move was signing Wallace

You really do not need a lot of time for the deep ball. Most of the time needed for the route is ate up on the drop and the time the ball is in the air. Manning last night showed this several times. His ball is out quick and the throws are deep balls too. When you don't see over the top help on Wallace let the ball go and let him run. If you over throw Wallace you over throw the D and no harm occurs.

YES YES YES.

And it's not like Manning is the only guy doing it. Cutler, Wilson and other middle tier QBs have had deep connections in the past few weeks where they got the ball away early.

Which is why I hate this coaching staff! They actually have some players with talent, but taking advantage of that talent would mean going away from their system, and to them that's a big no-no.

When the o-line was playing poorly in the preseason and continued that play into the regular season something should have been done. These coaches (and Ireland) stood idly by and watched their QB take hit after hit, and not once did they change personnel even though there were other o-linemen on the roster. The bye week before the Buffalo game would have been the perfect time (other than the off-season, of course) to get McKinnie (or any proven starter), but nope... didn't happen. These guys had no inclination to make any changes until forced to do so by the owner. For this failure to do anything about the o-line, I believe that Ireland, Philbin, and Sherman need to be fired.

...nor did they say "hey, let's be honest, our 5 best linemen are better in a PBS scheme. We should just go with that." Don't mess with the system, people. The system knows all.
