What do you think is the worst trade in recent years by the Dolphins?

Just looking at that list . . . I just remembered why we haven't seen the playoffs since 2001

I went with Feely, the Pep trade turned out horrible . . . but it was good at first because it seemed as if the Fins were atleast trying to address the postion w/ a big name star who has proven great things in the past. With Feely it was like huh?

The first three were the worst. At least Ricky did contribute something valuable though that mental issue and drug issue was not really too predictable. Everyone thought after 2003 that Ricky had changed for the better.

Feeley for sure. How do you trade a second round pick for a third string Qb? I always hated that trade, and the man who did it.

True about Ricky, but in the end . . . it was easily the worst trade. We got 2 seasons of production for 2 first round picks . . . and we didn't make the playoffs since we traded for him . . . I mean geez, that hurt this team so much its not even funny. In 2002 we could have had a Ed Reed, or a Charles Grant . . . hell Clinton Portis . . . . and in 03 Larry Johnson, Polamalu . . . I mean imagine having no Ricky, but having Ed Reed and Larry Johnson for those 2 years . . . that trade set this franchise back more than the others.

I still chose Feely tho because it was just stupid for the beginning.

I voted A.J. Feely. I had forgotten about the 3rd for Lamar Gordon. Thanks a lot for reminding me.

Gordon is maybe the least troubling of the trades . . . because he only required a third and he performed well in backing up Faulk in St. Louis . . . and we really needed a RB at the time. But just like Pep and AJ . . . that didn't work out.

I picked Feeley because once it happened, you knew it was stupid. But it's amazing how horrible all of those trades turned out. The Ricky and Daunte trades looked like good idea's. Instead, they turned out being the most beautiful transvestites we had ever seen. Imagine our surprise. Don't really know what i was getting at there......i just mean to say they wern't what we expected.lol.

But Granfather say " It can't rain everyday."

Well at least I see some semblence of sense on this board> Feeley by far because he was a never was that was playing third string when we traded for him. The previous year it would have looked more justified but he did nothing the year we traded for him. What's sad he was looking better late in year and was never given a chance the following year. He was on a horrible team and over his last three or four games, he did improve. No Qb we had in the last 25 years had a worse set of running backs than him. We gave up the 35th pick in the draft for this guy. We probably cost ourselves a good rookie Qb by trading for this guy.
