Thinking about this team, I think 2 variables that may be the difference betweeen a below average and above average season for Miami are Reggie Bush's ability get 15-20 touches a game and stay healthy, as well as the development of Gates as a deep-threat, game-changing kind of player. We all know what Marshall/Bess/Hartline give us, and I'm not over the top psyched about Moore or Thomas, but I think Gates could potentially make Miami a much better offense. Would love to see him get 3-5 grabs a game, and a few in the 30-40+ yard variety. I think he can open of the field and create 1-on-1's for Marshall unlike anyone else on the roster. I sure hope they give that a shot early and often this year. We're about to find out.
