Would any one be surprise if JT unretires

As unlucky as this team is with him on it, the JT we saw last year is a better pass rusher than anybody not named Cam Wake on this team. I think Miami would be kind of silly to not consider taking him back if he wanted one more chance at glory . . . even if it was in a role where in addition to being a situational pass rusher he could in turn mentor whatever young pass rusher we bring in from the draft as well.

I do think he is finished with the game tho. He should be a HOF and he has had a solid career.

I really hope not.

Why? in the 4-3 defense he can be a legit pass rush threat without having to worry about the passing game.

The Manning effect; a few difference making FA's willing to sign in Miami just for a shot at a ring.

He might unretire and join Pennington with Sparano in jest land.

Those are going to be classic games this season. The rivalry just got even better. I hope Philbin is the real deal because you know Tony will be foaming at the mouth for those two games.

Sparano never foamed but he does like to lather up...

It wouldnt surprise me if he unretired (he did go to the Jets afterall, so anything is possible).... but would the Dolphins have a roster spot for him?

If he does un-retire he should make it known before the draft. This way the team can go in knowing what chips they have and what they need.

I would welcome him back with open arms. He's a special player who makes plays around the ball that few to no guys can make in football. He's an ageless player like Greg Maddux because he can change speeds. He drops back and tips balls on passes and speeds rushes past fat lineman. Seriously the dude is fun to watch and he always comes up with big plays.
