I think Falk is the key to whether we draft a QB or not. Rookie QB who had college success. Got drafted but stuck behind franchise QB in Tennessee. If Gase stays I think Falk is our starter next year.

If gase is here next year there is a 100000% chance tannehills the qb. /Thread

I just think that is the reason he kept him on active roster until we put him on IR so noone could touch him. Tan can't stay healthy but other QBs would cost more. Keep Tan as backup to Falk and roll 1 year then bye bye Tan.

“If Gase stays...” should be the same as saying “if my aunt had balls...”

Hear me out..

No mention of Carson Wentz? Foles looks good in Philly, actually kinda better than Wentz. What would it take to call Philly and get Wentz to Miami? Maybe trade Tannehill and a 2nd for Wentz? Something around there. Wentz is proven. Young.

I know sounds odd but Foles is doing it all in Philly. Stick to him.

We are drafting a QB. No if's.

Falk really demonstrates the obsession with draft picks on Finheaven. There is an Isaac Asiata post every 2 weeks on here. Falk was the 6th QB scouting report wise in the last draft and he’s never mentioned as a serious option. I’m not saying I think he is but if the Dolphins has spent a precious draft pick on him, instead of picking him of on waivers, he would be looked at completely differently. He would CRUSH Isaac Asiata on the obsession scale, I guarantee it.

Wentz would not survive behind our OL...2 years in a row his season ends with him on IR

I don’t follow college football at all but isn’t the 2020 draft loaded with QB’s and this year not much?
We are still drafting a QB this year. And could draft one in 2020 also.

They gave up a bit of treasure for Wentz and still love him in philly.

That deal might work for Foles, but we’ve been there with second round picks for Eagle backup QBs.

No thank you.

Ok. Back to the original (?) -- how would Falk rank compared to QBs coming out this year?

So Philly wants Tannehill as a backup QB with a $26M cap number?

I think Philly’s front office has already proven they’re not idiots.

Falk is rated by many scouts as being a guy who can develop into a solid NFL backup. That is suppose to be his ceiling. We need a franchise signal caller. That is NOT Falk. After watching a lot of video on Falk he seems to be a smart QB who has an average arm at best. Does not strike you as starter material in the NFL.
