Had we chose to re-sign Frerotte and still hired Mularkey as the OC, would Frerotte have done any better in yesterday's Bills game?

I remember the poor performance Frerotte had against the Browns last year, but after that Frerotte bounced back taking us to 9-7 overall. I hope DC bounces back, but if not, it's not too late to call Linehan and ask what he's asking for Frerotte.

yes, he would have done better. He may not be the same calibre as DC but he would have won that game.

Don't do this guys....forget Frerotte.

oh please lets not go back to "what if". i assure you that frerotte would have been even more lost than daunte was. at least daunte tried to buy himself some time by moving around in and out of the pocket. gus frerotte is glued to the turf. daunte is gonna be fine and the team as a whole is gonna be fine. i cant wait till next monday after we obliterate the titans and see how many daunte-haters will come out of their holes.

I think frerrote would won that game, is not that he has the same caliber as DC but is mostly the chemistry he developed with the players last year. I think DC just has to grow with the players. I just hope he grows by week 3.

Give me a break!! Frerrote can't lick Culpepper's shoes!! I don't care which quarterback was playing yesterday, that offensive line is a joke and until that can be completely rectified, it doesn't make a hill of beans who's the quarterback!!

Frerotte would definitely have led us to a win against the Bills yesterday. He's not good, but he can be a caretaker QB and that's all we needed yesterday.

Frerotte didnt play in the Browns game.. That was Sage Rosenfels.

HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE???:sidelol: :sidelol:

Instead of talking about Frerotte. Lets talk about Harrington. Why does Frerotte matter? I don't know if he would have done better, probably not in Mularky's offense.

But we still have a very capable, injury free, confident QB sitting on the bench waiting to get his chance. That's what we should be talking about.

I can't explain it, but Daunte can't find the open recievers. The TV doens't show the whole picture. For those of you that went to the game you know what im talking about. I have never in my life seen a qb miss recievers like that. I hope that it was just a bad day because if it wasn't we are doomed this year and future years. Since it is yearly I will give him the benifit of doubt and caulk it up as a bad game.

I saw a few wide open receivers Daunte missed before he was sacked, He needs to stop holding on to the ball so long.

Sorry, but it wasn't just a bad game. I had Vikings season Tix, and watched him throw to double teamed receivers all the time when another WR was wide open jumping up and down to get his attention. People in the stands would even start yelling the names of the open receivers. That was Daunte's specialty: Focus on one guy.

No questions about it with Ferotte or big ears (Fiedler) we are 2-0. Do not get me wrong I do not care for either of our 2 previous pivots because they were limited by their abilities in not taking us to the next level. I thought Culpeeper might have been that guy but after two games I am convinced he IS NOT that guy for sure. I would take Fiedler in a second over this bum. With Fiedler we go 10-6 but will never wear a ring. Cutler is sure looking like the way we should have gone. Our first rounder rides the pines.

:boohoo:
