Would you give up your entire draft (if we do not have the #1 overall pick) to trade up to get Luck?

it's a bit much and I think you could trade up for less than your entire draft, but he seems to be worth it. Plus... It's not like we haven't missed on draft picks before. What would be the difference? If we could solidify the QB position for the next 12 years... yup, count me in.

No.

If we need to move up maybe a spot or two, then perhaps I would trade away our 3rd and conditional picks.

Other than that, No way.

We will end the season in the middle of the pack anyways, so it isnt even relevant

I don't think we will have to trade our whole draft because we will probably get the number one pick any way! If we don't have the number one I would do whatever it takes to get that first pick. We need a franchise QB ASAP!

No way, not saying that Luck cant be great but you need to have drafts to get that influx of talent...assuming our talent evaluators will be better than the past ones you can get pretty good players in all rounds..

We need a RT in the worst way. Maybe even 2 guards.. Our d is lacking of course you can put that all on hold and hope Luck does not get killed..

Nope, not doing it. There are some other good QB prospects out there. What if this is an other 83 draft?

No way we win our way into the middle of the pack.

I'm not totally opposed to the idea, our last few drafts have been **** anyway, might as well get one guy who's as close to a guarantee as you can get in a draft. What the worst that could happen if he didn't pan out, we suck? Oh, like that's never happened before.

Not to mention, a lot of the guys we have now could possibly have their true potential unlocked with someone capable as QB. Get the rest through free agency, let that idiot Ross open up his account for Cowher or Gruden they'll know what to do to fill in the rest of the necessary pieces.

"The whole draft" sounds like a lot, but really it's simply a 2nd through 7th picks. We'd be swaping 1st's.

And let me tell you, that WILL NOT BE ENOUGH. NO team will give up the top pick (Andrew Luck) to simply gain a 2nd thru 7th.
We'd need to give up the 2013 1st round pick AS WELL. And maybe an elite player (Marshall or Wake).

So, yes, I'd give up our 2nd - 7th picks in a heartbeat. But that's unrealistic and a joke. No team would accept so LITTLE.

This is why we haven't picked a franchise QB in the draft in years. You still have fans thinking we need more offensive lineman and other players instead of a franchise quarterback!

I hate giving up draft picks, but after a decade of average to terrible quarterbacks I would do it

This is why Suck for Luck is so important. It would be great to have that 1st pick then after drafting Luck you have the 1st pick of the 2nd round which is almost like a 1st round pick and the 1st pick of the 3rd round which is almost like a 2nd pick.

It's simple... blow the games so we don't have to give up anything. Suck just enough to make him yours.
