ricky tought the guy everything he knows and u can tell he used to dance alot but now be lowers the shoulder and plows through..with out ricky would ronnie even b a starter?

Ricky thouth him everything?.....lol....I hope he didn't teach him to het high

Ozzy rules!!

Ricky taught him alot. That is for sure.

But Ronnie is the one who utilizes what he learned and his own talent to be as good as he is.

Ricky just helped his progression.

Ronnie would still be a starter, too much talent not to be, shouldn't even be a question.

WOW!!! What exactly did Ricky teach Ronnie? You said Ronnie used to dance alot and now he lowers his shoulders and plows through...well here's a news flash for you. Ronnie has always lowered his shoulder and plowed through people. Just ask Jason Allen when they were both in college and you can also ask Champ Bailey and Greg Wesley.
Ronnie showed last year what he can do when given the opportunities and not stymied by a coach who wanted to limit his touches for whatever reason.

Since Ronnie has started from day one here in Miami, I think he would be starting regardless.

Would Clayton have been that good if it wasn't for Duper? Who's care both were talented and complemented each other. Same goes for Ricky and Ronnie.

I knew it wouldn't take long for someone to create a thread like this...

i am going to try and give you an unbias answer to your question.

1) Ricky did not go to college with ronnie so, there was no way he taught him everything he knows, that was a stretch by any means
2) Even during his first year brown was plowing people over
remember hitting the hole too fast means you are impatient and not hitting it fast enough means you dance too much.. As the last two years has shown- ronnie knows what he is doing.

Now the pro williams part of this post
Without ricky the defense would be stacking the line of scrimmage and ronnie would still be facing 8 or 9 people instead of just 7. Did this help his YPC? Maybe... but what i can say for sure is- it sure saved brown a few beatings

Brown was a top draft pick who happens to be very talented, so of course he would have started.
We have no idea of what if anything Ricky has taught Brown. However we absolutley cannot attribute his success to a guy who has had quite a few issues of his own. I am definitely a fan of both and respect what they both can do but RB is just a beast and we can give props to coaches and all offensive players for that.

WOW did you interview these players and get these answers? Why are you wasting your time on a message board, get out there and get more player FACTS.

shutup

Of course Ronnie would be as talented...now if you ask, "Would the Wildcat work as well..." Then I might have a different answer, but based on the question posed...the answer is, "Yes."

I don't have to interview any of these players F. Lee Bailey. Video evidence of Ronnie Brown plowing over Jason Allen in college, and seperating Champ Bailey's shoulder when Bailey tried to tackle him and running through Greg Wesley on his way to a 65-yard touchdown are all the facts I need to know that Ronnie Brown has been lowering his shoulder and plowing through defenders before this season.

WOW have you watched Ronnie's games prior to the last few years?

Everything the guy said is based on what Ronnie has DONE. No need to interview anybody, just watch some of the hits he laid in college and his first few games in the NFL....
