I dont know if there are any Oregon fans around here but I sa Oregon play , I think it was Michigan , and they were on the goal line and instead of putting a runningback in they had 3 wrs with 2 of them stacked on the near side and 1 wr next to the 1 st te on the far side and then they had a te in the backfield and he then took a snap and ran the ball into the endzone.

have any of you seen anything like that ? if this indeed was the case would it work to put Fasano in next to ronnie and chad and use ronnie as a decoy and have fasano run it right up the middle in the nfl ?

this unfortunately for me will probally be shot down as a bad idea but the anouncers were talking about that play saturday.

side note i Have decide to post more of a positive thread and post because i have become a negative clown and that wasnt what i had intended to become .

it depends on a lot of factors. how strong of a runner is the tight end? how good is your blocking in front of him? can he avoid fumbling in that kind of traffic? if the answers are very, solid and yes, then i dont see why this wouldnt work in goal line situations, but most teams would probably prefer to just give it to a FB which accomplishes much of the same.
