So, it looks like the stars may be alligning for MIA to get TO based on the press clippings of late.

My questions is, would this be a positive or negative when targeting a FA QB?

To Pro: He'd make my little sister look like a great QB. He get's to the ball and does plays all out. Catches like Moss, runs like Vick, and has a motor like Zach.

TO Con: If you overthrow him or throw to much to the other guys he has a tendancy of humiliating the QB and acting like a child.

Please refrain from making this a "I don't want TO" thread. Lets imagine for this thread that TO is coming.

If he keeps his mouth shut and just plays football, with all his talent I can't see why a QB would not want to play with him. However I would need proof that he is able to do this before I would want to play QB for him.

Right. But, how would a FA we are attempting to acquire THIS offseason discern what TO's actions will be?

I can't imagine any free agent QB not panting at the idea of throwing to TO and CC. Don't let the off field stuff fool you, free agent QB's want to play with receivers that will help them look good; that's what TO does.

If Gus goes thru the first 4 games with the wild overthrows deep to TO like he did this year, TO will get his can of whup-butt and paddle Gussy like he was a little girl...the problem is, I'd agree with him in this Gus' case...

Any QB would be happy to see TO on the field (except Garcia or McNabb)...The question is how long will they feel that way...if there are 30 passes in a game and only 3-4 come his way because of coverage or because the QB isn't seeing TO or for whatever reason, he'll start complaining and consequently they'll be issues between the two players...The problem with TO is that it's not enough to keep him happy with money, nor is it enough to keep him happy with passes...he wants it all...That's not all wrong, unless it conflicts with the team's philosophy and it does here. The question will be how long before he goes off on the QB and/or coaches...

would YOU sign on with Miami knowing you would shortly be called soft and queer ? That your very manhood would be called into question the first time Terrel didn't get his way?

we have a QB, TO will make Gus better. Period. I mean he turned Jeff Garcia into a 4000 yard passer, and when he left you never heard from Garcia again.

a fa qb with incentive ladden contracts would drool at the potential of TO, chambers, mcMike and an amazing running attack, not to mention the higher the air borne stats the more money they make. A baby off the field or not, millions more in bonus money is worth it for doubling as a baby sitter

I don't think TO should talk about queer. he drives a baby green volkswagon beetle. all his manhood went by the wayside when he purchased that. No one takes his slander seriously do they?:sidelol:

great question,,,,if you were a vet qb at the end of your career and wanted one last run would you want a guy like TO. I don't think there is a right answer

But isn't that a problem? The only other prominent quarterback who has thrown TO the ball is Steve Young, and he's a Hall of Famer. And plus, Jerry Rice was still the #1 option for the 49ers when Young was playing. One would think that free agent quarterbacks would want to play in this offense with TO added.....but would TO be happy? I'm just not sure that man will ever be happy.

We have a QB.

Where? You mean Gus? That's a conversation for a different thread. We need a new FA QB. Gus won't get any better than last year. He'll just hopefully not get worse.
