we had this year's schedule? I'm not sure if the fact that we were so bad last year had to do with the fact that we played good teams. I mean we played the Giants, Eagles, Cowboys, Steelers, etc. but we were in alot of the games we lost, so I don't know.

but my question is, would we have been 1-15 last year if we plyed teams like the chiefs, cardinals, 49ers, etc., like we are this year?

We played some pretty awful teams too.

Ravens, Oakland, Houston, Cincinnati. Not to mention the Bills and the Jets

By the way the eagles weren't that good last year.

1st of all yes i think we would have still been 1-15 but who knows. a better question would be if we stayed healthy all year would we have been 1-15? NO

and Houston was not bad at all Cincinnati was not really a bad team. And the Eagles were not bad at all when you think about they played a very tough schedule as well.

Who knows. A made field goal here, a caught pass there. So many factors go into a season, you cant just blame the level of comp.

unless we played the falcons and ram 8 games a piece, we were going 1-15. That was the 2nd worst team of my lifetime last year or maybe tied with the Kotite Jets. We w/have found a way to lose to anyone - we lost 2x to the horrible Jets.

if we had cam probly but i think if we had Saban no Cam is soft on the players in Training camp and they got hurt because of it and Saban was tough on them so most of them played 15 or 16 games and Saban wouldnt have traded Chris Chambers and Wes Welker and he wouldnt have released Randy McMichael. so if we had Saban would probly would have had a better record

yeah cuz scam and his coaching staff lacked up coachking players

We still would have had Cam Cameron as our HC. we coulda played D-II schools and lost.
Man just didn't know how to coach during the game.

I do hate the woulda, coulda, shouldas regarding last year, I'm just glad its over. To try and answer your question fairly though, I'd say yes.

There were multiple games against GOOD teams where we were within 3 points or less of winning. If those games have been against even decent or bad teams certaintly at some point during the game one blocked pass, stopped run, interception, whatever the case may be, would have been all it would have taken to reverse the ending. Do I think we would have done radically different, no. I do think we could have picked up another 2 or 3 wins easily though.

Now if you want to ask had we stayed healthy, Cam not made boneheaded calls, had anykind of reasonable O-line, etc, etc. Thats where I think your real variables come in to play.

Please don't underestimate the impact of lousy coaching.
An average coaching job would have garnered 3-4 wins. A superior coaching job 5-6 wins.

Hell we had no wins when healthy so Im not so sure we are that much better healthy last year.

Yes, and we were lucky to get the one win. We weren't better than our records. If anything we were worse than our record! Those games we lost by 3 points is way overrated. Teams play down to their competition, and were as low as you go. I'm a dolphins fans, and can be honest with myself and tell you we suck!
