If Wilford was in there instead of Ginn on that last play? I know Wilfords a big target so i was suprised when they didnt through it his way in the endzone.

Ya know I was wondering the same thing. That is one of the reasons we got him, or so I thought.
Either way I thought it was a stupid play, that kinda play isn't Ginn's specialty, he is abit to light and not known as a guy who is a scrapper when it comes to getting the ball.

no. Wilford couldn't have made it to the endzone in time.

I'm wondering if we'll see a direct snap to Ginn at some point like they did at Ohio State. Even if we don't do it, if we had lined him up in the backfield the jets would have been thinking, WTF? You only need to mess with a team's head for a second to have an advantage.
As for Wilford, I originally liked the signing, but until the Saints game he had done nothing for us. If he was on the upswing I gotta believe the coaching staff would have used him yesterday. Leads me to believe he followed up the Saints game with a not quite ready for primetime week of practice, but of course that's speculative. As practice was closed I don't know if we'll ever find out what the reason was. We need a big WR out there whether it's him or someone else.
