Would you be happy if Tannehill develops intoa a plummer/rivers mix?

He's so overrated that he has never missed a game (even started and played a full one with a completely torn ACL) and has only ha 2 seasons where he didnt have a QBR of over 92.. Not to mention 3 consecutive seasons over 100. If you are hoping for Tannehill to be better than Rivers, Im not sure any QB will make you happy.

Rivers just never seems to get it done.
I would take a QB with half of his bloated numbers to have a winner.

Outside of Eli Manning, Peyton Manning, Tom Brady, Drew Brees, Ben Roethlisberger, or Aaron Rodgers.....name me a QB that is even comparable to Phillip Rivers?!?!? are you people nuts???? Even Favre had a bad year, and he is going to be a first ballot Hall of Famer. As for Jake Plummer.....he was never a "terrible" QB...dont forget he took the Broncos to the AFC Championship against the Steelers!!!.......I WOULD LOVE IF TANNEHILL IS EVEN MENTIONED CLOSE TO THOSE GUYS!

Much rather have T-Hill develop into a Montana/Farve type of QB. Guess I'm more partial to rings and playoff victories then choking and interceptions..

Bloated numbers? Not sure how you come to that conclusion as bloated numbers are a function of garbage time passing yards and TD's. Being that SD consistently has one of the most potent and efficient offenses in the NFL, Rivers numbers are not in garbage time, and thus, not bloated.

Rivers does enough to get it done, thats a fact. Yes he may from time to time have a brain fart and throw a pic, but so does every other QB in the NFL. The chargers offense puts up points, and then the chargers defense gives up points. Football is a team sport, and Rivers certainly is not the problem.

If T-Hill transforms into a league top 5 QB like Rivers, I'd be thrilled; Plummer, not so much.

If we win, yeah. Hell, I'll be happy if Tannehill turns into a Brad Johnson/Trent Dilfer mix if we win.

Can he develop into Rivers without the Plummer part? Because that would be awesome. Rivers is one of hell of a QB. Please stop being insane those of you who would be disappointed with Rivers at QB.

i dont see anything wrong with the fins having a jake plummer at QB, it's certainly better than the barren landscape you guys have had at the position for awhile now.
