OK we know how are favorite TV shows come out in full seasons and we snatch them right up....me, L O S T.
Now if the NFL somehow started releasing Full Team Seasons Meaning Games instead of Episodes, no commercials although that might be interesting for the years in the 80's with the Bud Light Commercials and what not. Commentary by NFL stars and coaches who played in certain games, Follies and other stuff....WOULD YOU BUY THEM?

For me I would def buy MIAMI DOLPHINS 1984, to watch Marino in his second year snap for snap would be tons of fun.

What season would you buy?

in a heartbeat. i love that idea. it would be great to see the 2002 season again. i loved when ricky had back to back games with over 200 yards rushing.

definately. I watch old Dolphin games whenever they come on espn classic.

ESPN classic doesn't do NFL games. Otherwise I watch them every time. To answer the first question, I would buy all the Marino seasons in the 80's and early 90's.

thats funny I just had this idea a couple of days ago and was describing it to a friend...anyways to answer your question I would buy it, but it would never happen because the cost of production is high and there is no way enough people would buy it to justify producing it. If your team won the super bowl that year, they could get away with it. For example though there's not a chance anyone would buy the 07 Dolphins season.

What I DO think they should do though, is release episodes for download that you could burn to DVD. I would pay something reasonable (like $2-$5 a game). Which would solve the production issues of having to make an expensive DVD set for retail. Plus then you could pick and chose the games you want rather than have to buy a whole season for one game, like in 07 for example.

NFL network, my bad. They do more like season highlights not full games unfortunately. Better than nothing I guess.

I have alot of game from the early 90's on i couldn't afford a vcr in the 80's but after i bought one i started recording all Dolphins games of course i only keep the games we win but i have probley 100 games and i watch them all the time. Love Marino...

Your best bet i sto but the Super Bowl box sets. They sell for about $50 - $75 bucks each (there are 4 of them). I found mine at Wal-Mart for $25 each. they are broken down super bowl 1-10, 11-20, 21-30, 31-40. Each disc include the original NFL films season video (i.e. the disc for super bowl 7 shows the NFL Films 1972 NFL season in review video, plus the NFL Films Super Bowl 7 video, plus extras--including a segment on the 1972 dolphins 25th anniversary reunion. The disc also has the super bowl 8 video, the 1973 season in review video, plus extras. Every season is like this. The Dolphins get alot of mention for the videos of the early 1970's and mid-80's

I actually sent an e-mail to the commissioners office, asking if the NFL and NFL films are thinking about doing films on individual players. My idea was to do an NFL film on Dan Marino and debuting it on his enshirement day. Can you imagine the sales they would get on that. I also used the example of Johnny Unitas, and how the younger generation can watch his greatness. I never heard anything back from them.

I would love a film on every TD Pass Marino threw, even the ones called back on penalities. I would sit back and enjoy that big time.

I don't know about whole seasonsor games, but I love the shows on NFL Network or ESPN Classic that are between 60-90 minutes of highlights, analysis, player interviews etc. If they did that for more of our classic games, then I would purchase those in a heartbeat, I'd love to get the longest game in NFL history, any of our playoff wins for that matter.

I acutally have a cleveland Miami Playoff game on tape. its old, miami won 13-10 i believe. I also have a Miami Dallas 1987 game on tape, perfect condition...where Troy Stratford ran wild. It was the year Dallas went 1-15. Also the Miami Chief 17-16 game....wow what a game that was. I need to get those to DVD.
