Four straight losses at the end of the season would put me in an awful funk...and I would expect Philbin to be fired for the 7-9 record...

But cheering for the Dolphins to lose? I don't know if that's in me. Is it in you?

Unfortunately no I am not in favor of this. We need to take these 4 games to figure things out for next year

No but we shouldn't need to. He should get fired anyway.

We've been through this with the "Suck for Luck" nonsense and just about every other season our playoff hopes start looking grim, but I'll lay it out in simple terms:

If you're ever cheering for the team to lose, you're not a fan of the Miami Dolphins.

Heck no.....I never cheer for the Phins to lose. I don't care who job is or isn't at stake.

Particularly now! Although not the best statistically they can still make the playoffs if they win out.

No need to even cheer. Having watched the Jets-Vikings defensive fronts in their game yesterday, I think the Dolphins will lose out because their injuries are too difficult to overcome. Week 1 the Dolphins had a playoff talented roster; now, not even close.

I won't be shocked if we lose our final 3 games. If we do, Philbin needs to be canned before he gets back to the lockerroom in the final game.

No way. Plus, I thought Tony was done in 10 losing 4 of 5 and he still came back. Might as well win some games.

Well it turned out that Luck fellow didn't end up being very good so it's not like we missed out on anything.

But hey, you got those few wins you wanted in 2011. Congrats.

i'm rooting for 10-6. that's an improvement in my book. even if they don't make the playoffs. 9-7 is also still an improvement and very possible.
