There's the poll. I would. Draft a LE and roll with the rook and Malveaux.

I don't mind both of them being gone.

Forget about the names. Do I want a 36 year old defensive end? Do I want a starting wide receiver who averages 9 yards per catch, or thereabouts?

Lots of peaceful clarity when big picture focus is applied, rather than desperation to argue that our exception is valid, as opposed to all the other exceptions.

Easiest yes I've ever answered.

Wake gave us plenty of good games and played at a very high level since he's been here. But the battle of age can't ever be won. Juice has 8-10 years of high level play ahead of him and he is, in my opinion, our best player. I know Reshad got the Pro Bowl nod this year, but Landry seems to have that fire in him that most other players don't. He's a winner and I believe should be payed like one.

If you don't believe me, just remember what he's done to other teams in our favor. Now apply that, only doing it on the Dolphins. It's not a good feeling.

Logic days yes . I don't feel good saying that. It's a shame Cameron didn't get more success on a professional level. He deserved better.

Concur with alot of people on here that want to keep Juice. I am as big a fan as any for Wake and he has been nothing but a class act since he got here, but father time is knocking at the door loudly. I know it is cut throat but you have to move on to the younger guy, but all my respect for Mr. Cameron Wake.

Moving on from Wake is not a big deal to me. Finding someone to replace his production is. I'd rather have a 36 yo wake with 8-10 sacks than a 20 something replacement who puts up Harris like numbers.

I'd rather keep Wake and let him finish his career here with us. Landry doesn't score enough for me and he makes stupid mistakes in bad timing situations. I know he has the fire, but sometimes it burns out of control. AND I think he doesn't really want to be here but he'll stay for the right paycheck.

I wouldn’t.

Landry is the heart and soul of the offense. No question.

But Wake is the same of the defense. And while he is slowing down, he still gets more sacks than anybody else on this team. And he’s more of a leader, steadier.

Keep him for one more year. He’ll have value, will earn his keep. Draft a DE, groom him this year, and let Wake retire after next season as a Dolphin.

I'd cut Wake just to cut Wake if we need to free up the cap space for any type of improvements.

He's not worth anything close to that price tag. Should be strictly used as a situational pass rusher and compensated as such. I'd bring him back at a lower salary, but he'll probably get a nice amount on a short deal from a contender. I mean, look at the season Julius Peppers is having at age 37.

I'd cut Wake and keep Landry but........that doesn't mean I'd over pay for Landry. As far as Wake, I'm not one of those that keep talking about Wake needs to finish his career as a Dolphins. We need to do what's best for the team. He's not played well the last two months and yes he's been good for years but it ends for everyone. NE doesn't keep players just so that they can finish their careers at patriots. They rather get rid of a player a year too early than a year too late and they always seem to get something in return. That's how you win.

At the end of the day, I'd let Landry go too if he wants too much money which I'm sure he does. If they over pay for Landry then expect our offense to not score much going forward. That's what happens when you run your offense thru a slow slot WR which for some reason people here don't seem to see.

Ozzy rules!!
