With the way Seattle receivers are dropping, would they be interested in a trade for Ginn? Hasslebeck is more than an adequate QB who could make use of a young receiver. Maybe we can get a decent draft pick?

Failing that, maybe Hagan or Wilford could be an option for a trade?

What do you think?

if they felt like giving us tatupu or trufant, sure. ginn isn't worth anything yet, so no.

As much as I hate our WR corps, I'd rather give them this year to use as an evaluation before we jettison them to another team. We need to draft an elite WR (if he's there) with our first pick next year though.

I've always thought ginn was too small for the pros. He's got elite speed apparently great for college, but not enough size/not physical enough for pros. and unfortunately you have to be more than fast to succeed in the NFL.

No. I think Pennington is having trouble getting the ball to the receivers. He seems to like dumping it to the Tight Ends and running backs. Not real sure why.

When Henne came into the game, he was mostly connecting with the receivers. Henne is the long term answer at the QB spot, not Pennington. Ginn will likely struggle with Pennington in there this season, but next year when Henne likely takes over, he could explode off the stat sheet.

At some point we have to STOP acting like our team is having a fire sale, and start keeping and developing the younger ones. In the last 2 year we have seen, McMichael, Chambers, Thomas, Taylor....mostly given up for draft picks and now we want to get rid of Ginn too? We have to stop now, we have turned the roster upside down, this years draft is very promising, next off season with free agents, and another good draft and this thing WILL make the kind of strides we are hoping to see this year. Its a waiting game.

Desean Jackson has the same measurables and already has more catches than Ginn does in his career(little exaggeration). Ginn is a bust along with Jason Allen.

gee, that couldn't possibly have anything to do with the quarterback he has, or the offensive line he has. of course not.

dont you have to get a ball thrown your way to catch it? just curious

Yes, I'll do it in a heartbeat, Ted Ginn is pure garbage.

If Pennington can throw to Fasano...or Martin...then why can't the receivers seem to get open...not even for 10-20 yd passes? It isn't the QB....it's the receivers...the proof of this is...the one receiver that seems to be able to get open is Camarillo...imagine that.

When your best receiver is rated 48th in the NFL...and your second best is rated 52nd...you have a BIG problem at receiver...and the Dolphins do.
