Would you give up the season to draft Leinart?

Alright I'm a Feeley fan and not a Guskateer. I am a hardcore Dolphins fan and even though it was a preseason game, I still HATE to lose. I thought that some people on our team did do pretty good though Boston, Gilmore, and Diamond.

Watching that O-Line trying to block just makes me sick. I think we should just get an all new offensive line.

Our D cant even stop the run and Reggie Howard continuely makes mistakes on the pass!

Look, I've had enough of losing but now it just seems like the only thing I'm looking forward to is for #23 to sign, which still doesnt help the whole team. People say were a 2-3 years away to being a great team, so thats fine. So if were going to take that long, then why dont we save the season and get the first pick release a bunch of guys and get a new offensive line and a couple of new defensive players.

With Leinart and Brown with Chambers and Mcmichael, and possibly Booker and Boston, plus a couple of O-line guys, we would have a good offense.

Watching all the Marino highlights the last couple of days got me thinking how far off Feeley and Gus are. At least with Leinart we know we are getting a QB that can win and is the next franchise QB.

Marino cannot be replaced, but with Leinart at least we are getting someone for the future because Feeley and Gus are way off from taking us somewhere.

So who's down for just getting Leinart and in two years or three years start looking toward to the 2007 or 2008 Super Bowl.

Are you crazy? Turd Leinart? Yes, I would give it up, wont even have to "give" it up, we will be weak anyways. But, with that high pick, I am grabbin Eric Winston. Maybe Omar, but definately Winston, if he aint gone, and we dont have the #1.

thats a dumb question to ask someone that just paid alot of money for season tickets, DELETE/TRASH/BURN!

there will be no giving up the season for any player! you just don't do that, plus we can get the man in my sig. a little bit lower

I would never give up the season for any player, including Leinart.....heck we could draft Dan Marino in his prime and it would not change a thing because we need more than just a QB.... we need an O-Line, and some help in our secondary as well.....more than ONE player is needed to right this ship.

Nice thoughts, but you know what, IT WILL NEVER HAPPEN !!!

Get it thru your head, Leinart won't be a Fin next year....gimme a break and lets talk about what is happening now, not a fantasy dream...

No, No No, I would never purposely bail on a season for any player, no matter how talented. That said, we'll likely end up with a top 10 pick next year, which - depending on Ricky's performance - could put us w/in trading distance of Leinart if Saban deems him worthy.

But in reality, it's just not going to happen. Our future QB is going to come out of a trade (i.e. Drew Brees/Philip Rivers) or dumb luck (like the Patriots w/ Tom Brady).

No, but there are other ways to get the #1 selection in next years draft. ;)

NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO!!!! Oh yeah, did I mention NO!

You do realize the several players you are talking about cutting to make room under the salary cap would most likely be JT, ZT, RB & RW. Plus it would cost you the first pick in the draft, at least $65 million of which at least $30 million would have to be guaranteed! I wouldn't pay that price for a 23 year old Marino and certainly not Leinart.
