I know people either love or hate Randy Moss. He's 35, but that is still a year younger than Hines Ward. Apparently Moss's agent has gotten calls from three teams that are interested in him. I am pretty sure Moss lives in Miami most of the year so why not give him a look and bring him into camp?

If you are an opposing defense and have Marshall on one side and Moss on the other, that would be hard to shut down.

We already had this thread not too long ago. Be prepared to be flamed by a lot of people.

Rather give Terrell Owens a chance honestly. Terrell is motivated because he's broke and hungry. Trust me he's going to do everything in his power to be a 800 yard receiver at least.

No!

People that always look into the rearview mirror tend to crash

Things sure are slow this time of year. We have already had 2 Randy Moss threads and a T.O. thread.

depends on if hes really committed to play..to that i would say i doubt it..hes old,but you never know.

He just announced he was rescinding his retirement YESTERDAY. I thought it was worth bringing up.....I'd rather the Phins give him a look than Belichick signing him up and having him go off on us like he did a couple years ago. Just saying.

sounds like both him and TO are broke. seriously tho, if you get cut from a BB team, you're pretty much done.

You never know which Randy you're going to get. The good one or the malcontent. Some sources say he's lost a step, others say he hasn't. It doesn't cost to anything to look, but the last thing a new coach needs is drama in the locker room.

Reports are that he is a one trick pony, with one less step to do it. Do you waste reps and a roster spot on a guy who got shipped out of NE because he quit on his team and qb?

BB may like taking chances at minimal cost. But he already squeezed all the juice he could out of that lemon.:d-day:

People here are so right. Why in the world would you want to give a no-risk tryout to the most talented receiver ever to put on a foootball uniform?

I just don't want the Patriots to sign him and give them a deep threat once again. Welker and Branch mainly give them the quick slant and ten yarders, and Hernandez and Gronkowski give them targets on third down, but nobody really stretches the field for them the way Moss did. I know he is probably not close to the guy he was in 2007 for them, but if he is serious about making a comeback, it wouldn't hurt to look. After Marshall, Hartline, Bess and Gates, he would be a better #5 WR than Roberto Wallace or Marlon Moore. People make it sound like it would be horrible to take a roster spot from one of these two guys. Randy would probably take the bare minimum in salary at this point in his career. It's more than what the arena league pays.

He's done in NE. There is a reason why he was shipped out midseason.

Randy will make his money, someone will pay him. The thing is, do you pay a guy to run fly patterns? There is a reason he wasn't impacting the NFL in his last year. And motivation wasn't the problem.
