Hypothetical... I know Dan the man is long past his playing days but what I miss about #13 was his leadership on the field. He would get on receivers when they dropped a pass or ran the wrong route. He would dissect the defense and confuse their coverages and no matter what the score was, you always knew he would bring us back. Those intangibles cannot be taught. Either its in you or not!!!
Sadly, i dont feel that Henne has any of those intangibles... He may have a strong arm but cannot hit a target for his life.
Many Dolphin fans lack enthusiasm because we know what his capablities are behind center.
Although its impossible, atleast if #13 were out there we know he would give it alll he could and probably score more td's even at this point in his life.

Sad that after 10 years we still long for #13 because we have been forced to watch some garbage qb's

no way. while i'm sure marino for 10 minutes would be the best qb on the field, I'd had to see him get killed.

i'd rather not see my favorite player of all time get murdered on live television. so ... no? although i did have to think about it.

If we were anywhere near the red zone he would be out on the field. Can you guys actually imagine Marino getting benched by the fist-pumper so we can kick another field goal?

yea i can imagine, Sparano: Marino your benched... we need field goals now Henne get out there now! Marino: Wth coach why him? Sparano: Hello 3 is better then 7 isn't it? Dan!!! get ready for your probowl year again!!! -____-

Come on. Why post something like this?

I seen Marino up close at a PGA Pro Am a few months back and man he looks old and out of shape. I am sure he can still throw a ball better than just about anyone but he would be destroyed in a matter of minutes.

Still better than any QB we marched through over the past ten years and at one point (when we actually had a formidable running game) , I believe still could of and would of led us to the playoffs at least 3 times instead of only once. Would I take him today..that's tough given his age would be 50 but honestly still think he would beat out the current cast of characters we have, maybe not in the mobility dept but for reading what he's up against, changing the play and hitting his target with precision, yea I still think he could.

Assume you mean the superbowl, Dan led us to the playoffs many times.

Nope and Maybe but I was only using the 10 years since he's been gone as a the gauge for this hypo.
