Would You Rather Have An Elite Offense Or Defense?

This season has got me thinking, I love watching the Fins but I don't really get excited watching the D or the O. Sure the D has had some big turnovers but they can't seem to get off the field and besides Minkah, Howard and a few others I don't really have anyone that gets me super excited to watch them. The O speaks for itself although I love Wilson. If we were an average team, like 8-8 or 7-9 what would you guys rather watch?
A) Top 5 offense but terrible defense
B) Top 5 defense but terrible offense

I just think back to teams like the Saints a few years ago when Brees was putting up crazy numbers but they were still losing because the D was terrible or the Jags this year who have an awesome D but the O is brutal. Even Houston for a long time had an awesome D and the O was brutal. Losing sucks but I think it adds excitement when watching if one side of the ball is elite. Unfortunately for us, both sides of the ball are in the bottom half. I'm just curious to see what people get more enjoyment out of?

Keep in mind this isnt about what gives us a better chance to win, this is all about what we as fans prefer watching.
 
The game is geared to favor the offense, not the defense, so that’s my choice
 
My fandom says Offense, as watching an elite offense is much more fun, but the common sense in me tells me that an Elite Defense W/ an adequate Offense is more championship ready, then an elite Offense with an adequate Defense.

Still picked Offense though, hoping the Defense does enough.
 
I think the traditional answer is defense, but the way the league is geared now, it is set up for big offense- Saints, Packers, thrive with less than stellar Defenses. The Chiefs now too. The Rams have both. Sure the Jags got far with that defense, but it is much less the norm. I would rather have a killer offense and a defense that is just good enough. Score 30+ a game, you're cookin' with gas.
 
Picked offense because that seems to be where we fall apart first. I would welcome the change. Maybe then we could actually use our d designed to play with a lead...
 
If the offense comes with a clutch QB that knows how to manage the clock and pull out GWD I go with offense.
 
Offense. Look at the NFL these days. If you can't score a lot of points regularly, you're screwed eventually. When was the last time the Dolphins had a top 5 offense? I can't even remember. The 90s? Personally I want to see it because it's been so long.
 
Normally I'd say defense but this is a new NFL so I went with offense. Of course we don't have neither at this point.
