Let's assume, just for converstion, that if the fins win tomorrow they still finish the season at 6-10, miles out of the playoffs. But let's assume 5-11 made a significant difference in your draft postion, with a small number of coveted players that the fins could now choose from, who might not be there even a couple choices further down the draft line. Would you be rather have lost this game tomorrow and suffer the humiliation of being swept by us 2 years in a row, or would you grit your teeth and say so what we're out of it anyway? Or would it depend on how many teams you'd bypass with one more loss?

Just trying to gauge the level of hate for us.

If this game is going to mean the difference between a top 10 pick or a top twenty pick, Ill take the top ten.

I'd rather win and lose the first round pick altogether than be swept two years in a row! BTW the gauge is in the red!;)

I would much rather beat the Bills. I cant bear to watch us lose another divisional game. Besides, history proves that a high draft position doesnt guarantee a great player. I'd rather risk the later pick to enjoy some more wins.

These threads about us losing to get a higher pick are getting annoying. There is no guarantee you'll get a better player at 10 then 20, so always try to win. We need to beat Buffalo. If we can, and IF we can beat SD, we have a shot at going 9-7 and possibly win the division. Will this happen, probably not, can it, yes it can.

Is human nature to wanna see your team win.If we don't make the playoffs(which I'd be surprised if we do)then when draft day comes everyone on here will wish we had a higher pick, not only in the 1st round but on every round after. Here's the way I see it.For a long time we didn't have a very high pick in round one or any round for that matter. At last we got one last year and he's gonna be a super star.I think starting next year we'll get back to winning again and it could be a long time before we draft high again(which means we're winning)so I'd love for us to get some high picks one more time(next draft)and built a power house.I'm hoping we win out but I just don't see it happening since we haven't been consisten all year so far.

Ozzy rules!!

i'd rather take the win no matter what! Who says the dolphins will finish the season at 6-10... that might be a realistic record for them to end the season with but it isnt impossible for them to go 9-7 (keep in mind all the close losses we had earlier this season). Plus, I couldnt stand getting swept by the bills 2 years in a row. Also, as of now we are only 2 games out of first... if NE losses tomorrow and we win we might have an outside chance.

I want to go back to the time when we never had a top ten pick and we were still good or great every year.

Dude, bad news. With ten votes so far, nine say they hate you..... Hmmmmm... Wonder who that one vote on your side could've been from....:)

I would rather have a million razor blade cuts all over my body, and dumped in a vat of alcohol....than lose to Buffalo...again.

So I'm guessing you're a solid "no way" vote, right?

Winning promotes winning. Who cares what spot we draft in as long as we get value at that pick, i.e. Crowder, Poole.
