Just saw this article...

"Nolan also doesn't anticipate signing controversial free agent receiver David Boston, who made a positive impression on the 49ers during an interview last month. San Francisco didn't land a receiver with its first four picks in the draft, and the club desperately needs quality wideouts -- but Nolan seems to believe Boston's risks outweigh his benefits"

As long as we get him cheap I would take him.....

Most definitely, if he is committed to the organization and his role, that will likely be limited.

He is well worth the risk.

Does no WR tomorrow mean David is coming back to Miami? Could be.

Absolutely. He has no leverage in contract negotiations and should come cheap. If he gets his head on straight and stays healthy, our 3 WR sets will terrify opposing defenses.

Don't sign him to a 1 year deal give him a 3 year incentiv elayden contract so if he does well we don't have to try and sign him for more money! remember i think boston is only 25 years old!

Yes , I would most definitely bring him back. I would also bring Ricky back. If we made those two moves and everyone stays healthy we would go from 29th in offense to #1.

What does Ricky give us that Ronnie Brown doesn't? (Besides fits of rage.)

If we re-signed him look at our skilled players on offense....

QB: AJ Feeley (maybe Mcpherson?? I hope)
RB: Ronny Brown/Williams(if he comes back)
FB: Heath Evans
WR: Chambers
WR: Booker
WR: Boston
TE: McMichael

And the best part of it all .....GREAT COACHING!!!!

If we weren't good in real life we would be one hell of a team on X-box 360:D

You can't go wrong having two good/great runningbacks. They could keep each other fresh. Lets face it Minor shouldn't be on an NFl roster and gordon/morris are ok but I would rather have ricky (assuming he had his head straight).
