In the wake of the Panthers losing yesterday and preserving the Perfect Season it got me thinking. If you had the chance to change the Dolphins history for more Super Bowl wins, at the expense of the Prefect Season, would you?

Being I wasn't even born during the perfect season, and couldn't care less about it anymore, yes I would trade that for more relevant and recent Super Bowl wins. IMO it means more to win a Super Bowl now than celebrate something that happened over 40 years ago, that many people don't even care about anymore. It was cool when I was 16, now that I'm going to be 40 in a couple days it's just annoying

I was fortunate enough to see those 70 teams........but if you had told me back then it would be another 40 years + without a championship, I would have given up the perfect season in a heartbeat. We have a whole generation of fans who have never seen this team win anything. Time to change the culture.....

I'd trade it for an owner and staff that weren't an abortion.

I was home yesterday and didn't watch the game. Never thought I'd say that

Hell to the yes!!! and I watched the PERFECT season....still glad Cam failed tho.

Was watching redzone all day and focused on my fantasy team. They went to miami-indy with phins at the goal line with a chance to win and I didn't even care.

No doubt in my mind. I want to see Miami in the Super Bowl for a change. I want to see them win it all.

I would have rather spent a weekend in Vegas with Charlotte McKinney than read this thread.

Prefect (from the Latin praefectus, substantive adjectival[1] form of praeficere: "put in front", i.e., in charge) is a magisterial title of varying definition, but which, basically, refers to the leader of an administrative area.

No, I wouldn't, and I'll tell you why:

I'm a spiteful, miserable cur of a man. I take tremendous pleasure in knowing that in their rotten, bilious hearts, New England Paytoilets fans secretly seethe over going 18-1 and choking in the Super Bowl. Every year, when the '72 Dolphins get brought up, it's a dagger right through their weak, bandwagon-jumping breastbones.

I ****ing love it.
