Would you take 11-5 right now

i would take it if you or it meant not seeing my fins play the season because what good would it be to take a 11-5 record and not get to watch football ? im not sure how you are asling this question

Pretty obvious.

But I don't get why people assume you wouldn't get to witness it...not like the OP said you couldn't watch the games

He saying right now, would you take the 11-5 record at the end of the season. Not lets time travel to week 17.

What's so hard to grasp about this? Going into this season would you prefer the END RESULT be this team goes 11-5 OR would you rather just let it be.

the patriots went 11-5 in 2008 and missed the playoffs

I thought it would be take 11-5 but go 0-4 against the Pats and Jets or something like that.

Uhh, yeah, I'd take 11-5 any year!:err:

I'd take that every single year because it would always get us in the playoffs! More opportunity in the playoffs = more opportunities for a superbowl!...so yea!

you should have asked would you take 11-5 even if it means Sparano keeping his job.

actually the better question would be will the fins finish at .500

man i would take 9/7 with a wildcard............

Thank you sir

With this schedule, 11-5 would exceed everyone expectations. I think we have a reasonable shot at 10-6 if the offense can get on track. The first 4 games will decide our playoff fate. We have to win at home against NE and the Jets and sweep the Bills. A win at SD is crucial too. If we win 3 of those first 4 games, we have a shot at 10-6.

If we go 11-5, it means Henne learned how to be a consistent QB and Sparano learned how to manage a game, so we wouldn't need a new QB or coach. I'd take that.

If the Fins didn't make the playoffs at 11-5, this reasoning would not be understood.

11-5 absolutely. But there will be some that will want to get rid of Chad Henne even if he does lead us to that record.
