Would you take 11-5 right now

This franchise hasn't won more than 11 games in a regular season in over twenty years, regardless of who was coaching, playing QB, playing defense, kicking, etc. What are the chances that the 2011 Dolphins break that streak given what we've seen out of this team the last couple of years? It took a miracle season just to win 11 games the last time.

The 2011 Dolphins will be hard pressed to win 9 games, much less 12 or more. So, yes, I'd take 11 guaranteed wins now over the infinitesimally small chance of this team winning more than that.

Not to mention it probably means we finally found our franchise qb.
 
11-5...of course. I don't know what the exact percentage is, but if you win 11 games, there's a very good chance you make the playoffs. Other than the Broncos and the Patriots, I can't think of any other teams off the top of my head that have failed to make the playoffs with 11 wins.

Best response yet...so we go 11-5 and get our butts handed to us again in the playoffs. Might change some answers as how much would have changed since '08 when the Ravens killed us. I would still take it as until Henne proves otherwise, I think we are a 6-7 win team. Would love Henne to prove me wrong!
 
I would take 7-9. This is not a .500 football team. 11-5?? My my, how the dreamers come out this time of year. We have a much better chance at being 5-11 than 11-5.
 
nothing brings out dumb responses like a dumb question. 11 and 5? ok so what are the othr afc east records. remember a 7-9 record in the AFC east will get your owner shoping for a new coach. but 7-9 in the NFC west will get you a home playoff game, and get your bay area team that hot new coach

I think it happened to the Fins once. We lost out on tie breakers.
