would you trade dion jordan for the #3 pick this year?

Depends what kind of team they are building this time. Last year's concept of getting to the QB did not really pan out and we can't stop the run. We need to stop the run and we need a better Oline for sure. I would do it if I could achieve those results, otherwise no.
 
It depends on who the GM is using the pic we get, if it is Ireland than hell no!
 
Would i trade him. Personally i would if it helped the team more than what Jordan currently does. I feel as if he is a square peg trying to fit into a circle . And doesnt fit the team at moment. But then again is trading him going to create another whole that needs to be filled. But since he really hasnt made much of an impact what could you trade him for.
 
i would trade those two 3rd round picks from 2013 for the same picks in 2014 in a nanosecond...

I disagree because it's a position that if he reaches his potential will be a huge payoff no matter what kind of system we are running. This guy is a huge talent and he will help just as much as any other pick you would trade him for.

Clowney would eat Jordons lunch on game day. Anybody in positioIMHO draft him would giggle like a school girl of a thought of a swap.
 
This is all speculation of course, but it depends on the truth behind Jordan's shoulder. I seriously think his limitations were due to that this year more than anything else. That the coaches or FO wont admit to that is a different story.

let me word it better so that you can understand it. would you rather have dion jordan or the #3 pick this year? no one is suggesting a trade like this would ever happen.
 
Like driving a new car off the parking lot, you could not get back what you paid for the car or for him.

i would pack his bags for him and drive him to his new team.

and buy lunch!!

he had iify sack skills in college [against college players] and his one move and one move only definatley wont get it in the NFL.

now, if we played a 3-4, i see value and potential at olb. but as a pass rushing DE in the nfl, he doesnt have the moves and speed alone wont get it done.

bad pick. but, thats how ireland is, he just takes the wrong players at the wrong time in the draft.
 
My thoughts during last years draft

Jordan was not a position of need
You don't take project players with the number 3 overall
Jordan is to skinny for a DE

Today I still think the same thing. I still have plenty of time to end up being wrong and that would be ideal. So yeah I would def make that trade.
