Would you trade Matt Moore and our first round pick to the Jets for the #6 pick IF...

Draft rankings has Jets projected for #6 in the draft.They desperately need a QB, but there are no obvious choices at #6. They could still get Trubisky or Kizer at #22 which would be our pick and they could allow him to develop while Moore gives them a couple years of above average QB play (Make fun of me all you want, I think he is capable easily of this, he's exponentially better than Fitz and they really wouldn't be losing much in value with the #22 pick considering Watson will be off the board by then guaranteed.) .We probably need a top 8 position in the draft to get Reuben Foster.

Would you make this trade with the Jets IF it guaranteed Foster as our pick.

I really don't think it's as crazy as it may seem to some. I believe the jets have seen enough of him to believe they can use him as an above average placeholder as they develop Trubisky or Kizer for 2-3 years. I honestly think it'd be a smart move for both teams considering the Jets options and their dire need of a QB.
 
I'd make that trade in a heartbeat, but unfortunately Tannenbaum isn't thier GM anymore so I can't see the Jets being interested.

The Jets would be a much better team with Matt Moore. He could take them to the Playoffs under the right circumstances. Never strengthen an AFC rival. How would you feel if Matt Moore comes to town and leads the Jets to victory over us? Right now we have an excellent back up QB, who would back up Tannehill? I would be against this deal.
 
Um yeah. Give them a trash quarterback for the 6th pick? Nobody in their right mind would drop 22 spots in round one for a bottom 3 starting qb.
 
Move half the first round for matt moore :lol: maybe the 6th round

The jets have had 3 chances to sign moore as a free agent and never even made him an offer they arent moving down 15 slots to get him

True. Let's make the trade Miami 1st Round Pick + Moore + Tannenbaum for Jets 1st Round Pick + Bag of Dorritos.
 
Uh ya. They wouldn't do that but it's a no brainer for the Fins. Then trade it back down and pick up another 2nd. It'd be the best draft move for the Fins since last year's drop of 6 spots to get the same player they wanted plus 2 starters.
 
Foster might be there at 22 if not Davis is a good fit too. Stay put
