Peyton would want to play for a legitimate contender. I don't believe that the Dolphins are that at this point in time.

A healthy Peyton with this team Now and a good coach is 11-5 at worse!
Add another receiver O-lineman and Fleener, ????? I would like to see it!

imo the way the colts played without manning looked like a college team could have beat them , and we have better defence and better offence than the colts , if manning was that big a factor from what was shown , then we have plenty enough offence and good enough D to make a run against anybody.

i agree 100%

If Peyton is healthy.. he would take us over the top... and could you imagine the press, Manning and Brady in the same division ??

well lets see, the 2-14 Colts with Peyton are 12-4
The 6-10 Dolphins with Peyton can be??????

Same boat again next season with Moore starting since Peyton will be on IR due to our horrible OLine.

I'd trade for him, but after that we need to go into Shula mode of the late 80's early 90s and build him a solid OLine or else it wont work.

He's a pocket passer (pure) and he needs not just good protection, he needs GREAT protection. Since his neck is all messed up we are playing with fire if we dont get some mean *** hogs to protect him like we did for Marino and even then a lot of it back then was due to Dan's quick release not just a solid line.

i would not do it because dolphins line is to weak and manning will get hurt behind line.. it will be waste of pick...

Not so sure about that. Hopefully I'm not wearing my homer glasses but I think we have more offensive weapons than the jets. I think the online is comparable and the jets d isn't what it was. They are losing Scott. They have issues at safety and they look like that d is going to be worse next year unless there are serious upgrades. We started off 0-7 but I would argue that at the end of the year we were the better team. We were favored without our two best offensive players and the line actually went up. So it seems a lot of people thought we were the better team at seasons end

You can point to the final record but many times the team that starts the season is different than the one that ends it. Look at the pack last year and the giants this year. I'm not comparing us to them, I'm just saying our final product was better than our final record and I dont see the jets as being without a doubt the more desirable location. Either way I think he makes a contender out of either team

Lol. Salary cap aside, could u imagine him in Philly.

hmmm i think i still have to side with the jets weapons over ours...

Ultimate Dream = Sign Manning, move up and draft RGIII (somehow) now that gives us a couple years of good football and RG time to get ready for another decade of solid QB play. Hire Billick and get rid of Ireland

Plan B = Sign Manning, sign Flynn and pick up a great OLineman to replace Columbo. Hire Billick and get rid of Ireland

Plan C = Sign Flynn, draft weeden and sign a replacement for Columbo. Hire Billick and get rid of Ireland

If Manning is healthy a team in our position would be an idiot not to go after him with everything we got. He would still have another 2 years of serious football left in him. Plenty of time for our future QB to get ready.

If Peyton is healthy, I'd grab him in a second. And then draft Michael Floyd from Notre Dame. That would be a sick looking offense!
THIS * 1000000 but all dependent on him being healthy...I personally think he retires this year...he has his superbowl, no reason to risk permanent injury (especially if hes on his 3rd or so neck surgery)
