Would you trade?

Wallace ia not a #1 receiver in this league and should not be paid as one. The guy is fast and can catch, but that is it. I wouldn't make the trade. He wants ridiculous money. I have said this on a number of posts now, but I truly think Gates and Wallaceare pretty much the same player with similar ceilings. Gates just needs more work.

Dude dont fool yourself. Wallace is a true #1 and is thrice the player gates is. Gate might not make this WR corp and we r one of the worse in the league. Wha does that tell u about how good he is. R they both fast ? yes!!! but thats were it ends. I love when people on here talk about this guy and that like they r probowl players when in fact they have not proven anything (Gates). Wallace is a beast and we would be lucky to have him. Seriously gates is no where close to wallace. dont fool urself and come back down to earth.

Gates and Wallace shouldn't even be mentioned in the same post, let alone the same sentence at this point.

I don't think Gates is at Wallace's level yet. I said they are similar players and I think they have a similar ceiling. Gates needs a lot of work, but his potential is there, and with this coaching staff, he has a chance to be great in a year or two. We are not winning a Super Bowl this year. No need to spend that kind of money on Wallace, who IMO is NOT a #1 receiver.

Wallace has produced from day one. To use Gates as a reasoning for not bringing in Wallace is silly. Thinking Wallace is too expensive is one thing, but Gates is certainly not a factor at this point. Hell, he's not even guaranteed to make the roster.

Lamar Miller? No, I wouldn't make that trade. Miller could turn out to be a star and quite frankly possesses the best size/speed ratio of any back on our roster. A star RB is more of an asset than a star WR simply because they touch the ball more.
Only a fool would trade a promising young player before they know what they've got in him.
When all is said and done, Miller will be the best RB on this team by mid season.

I don't dissagree with your assessment of Miller other than you left out that he is injury prone. But if you did, you would still have a pretty good stable of backs.
