If David Garrard beats out Matt Moore for our starting QB. Would you trade QB Matt Moore for Green Bay WR James Jones? I don't want to cut him. James Jones would not make it threw wavers to us if he is cut by Green Bay. Green Bay doesn't have a backup QB with any NFL experience. They have Graham Harrell as their number two QB and a 7th round draft pick as their number three. Go Fins!!
 
...being from Green Bay, he does know the system.
 
Every single person on this message board should say yes to this Madden trade.
 
The problem is Moore is a free agent after this season and it's unlikely he would settle for an obvious backup roll with GB. But yes I would definitely make that trade IF Tannehill shows enough to be trusted as the backup.
 
the other problem is if he's not suitable for or west cost offense than why would gb want him

He doesn't have much of a choice. Matt Moore is a potential starting quarterback only on the Dolphins. What other starting quarterback in the league could Matt Moore beat out. Green Bay needs a backup quarterback, because the injury bug will catch up with Rodgers sooner or later.
 
Well I bet Moore could beat out Sanchez plus a handful of other QB's. I dont think GB wants to trade for what could be a one year solution. If they want him, odds are good they can have him after this season.

I hope you're right about some interest in Moore. I can imagine what will happen if we cut Gerrard, Moore, or Devlin (we're not getting rid of Tannehill) because I can't imagine us keeping all four and I don't think Devlin will make it to the practice squad again. Anyone want to take a bet as to which team gets the one we cut loose first? New York or New England?

I could see Moore ending up cut and then picked up by the Denver. Broncos. John Fox is familiar with him and he may want a veteran behind Manning.
