Would you want Philbin + Ireland fired if he lost he lead like Andy Reid did today?

Andy Reid did pretty good in his first year with the Chiefs...now way.So if Philbin was in his first year no.
 
Red's a good coach but it's well known going back to his Philly days that his teams are worse in the 2nd half and that his clock management is TERRIBLE. We're talking inexplicably, unbelievably bad.

You know when you hired him that he has those two liabilities. You just have to live with them.
 
I'm sure ppl wld be pissed as I'm sure KC fans are, but I would say no. You show me a Dolphins team, that makes the playoffs and puts up 40+ I'd think we were on the right track.
 
no, not at all, Reid coached his team to a great year and they're poised for another great season next season. Sometimes crazy things happen and Luck bring his team back from 28 down or whatever it was, was a miracle.

Is taking us from 3-13 to 11-5 part of your hypothetical? Ireland and Philbin should be gone because they're producing mediocrity. What Reid did with KC this year wasn't mediocre.

Sucks Charles was lost so quick, but I doubt he would have made a difference. KCs offense played a pretty damn good game. This was all about Luck/T.Y. and KCs defense folding bigtime in the 2nd half.
 
I'd rather be in the playoffs. Not like Reud can help it that his whole team just dropped like flies
 
Reid needs to look at the defensive side of the ball,going 2-5 down the stretch = something is wrong.

If I'm not mistaken they had a couple key injuries towards the end of the year on their defensive front that may have played a role in that. Not totally sure as I don't really follow or pay much attn to the Chiefs

its not like the team was filled with bums tho he had i think the most amount of pro bowlers on defense and traded for andy reid and also had the no.1 pick with a amazing running back.

philbin never had any of those
 
Probably not but I would definitely want to punch Kevin Coyle in the face and then see him thrown out on his arse.
 
This board would be screaming to fire the coach and GM right now but only after they hang and burn the DC in effigy in the parking lot

I don't care what kind of injuries they had, they lost a 4 TD lead in the second half, had the ball with plenty of time to kick a FG and win the game and the QB decides to get an intentional grounding call, then your high priced WR can't drag his feet on a 4th down catch that would have been a first down and put you in FG range all the while you HC is burning TO coming off of TO....if I wasn't rooting for the Chiefs I would be laughing.....no excuses for these guys losing this game, considering it was the coaching staffs first yr they are safe but the fans i'm sure are looking at them with a crooked eye waiting for the next shoe to drop next yr....( i know I would be)
