Wow Davis injured hamstring on ST assingment-why is he playing special teams!!!!

OmarKelly Dolphins CB Vontae Davis strained his right hamstring and he did it on a special teams assignment.



Why is our best CB and one of the most important players on the team flying down on punts and trying to make tackles!!! isn't that what carroll is for? jimmy wilson? culver? cut mastrud, moore, or wallace, and sign another gunner to strictly run down and make tackles on punts we don't need to carry 4 TE's and 6 WR's!! does rivas play special teams? I guarantee he doesnt! great now we have to have carroll start at CB because this coaching staff does not know how to use our players!! I'm so fed up w this regime!
 
easy - b/c we "churn" the roster. so we have no reliable special teamers. this regime is a joke.
 
when your special teams units are not very good you have to put out some of your better starters on the unit to keep it from looking like a seeping wound...you see this around the league a lot these days

and these specials units aren't much better than they were last year...we just haven't been popped for the big one yet but its coming

This keeps getting worse...

WHy is our number 1 corner on special teams...
 
Must be a trick we picked up from the Cowboys...seems as though Dez was hurt returning a punt in week 1.
 
There is nothing wrong with putting starters on special teams. Teams do that all the time.

I get you but still you cant put your best cb in special teams when its a risk but our STs blows *** so w.e
 
Yea I noticed Sean Smith playing special teams as well. Just a ****ing boneheaded decision playing their top two corners on S/T. Every day this FO is starting to look dumber and dumber. They were never really smart so them getting dumber is saying something... Starters play S/T all the time in certain situations. I don't think we really need Davis and Smith out there as gunners.
