Wow Davis injured hamstring on ST assingment-why is he playing special teams!!!!

It's because last year when our special teams blew everyone was throwing a tantrum about it and said we needed our starters out there to fix it. We got what we asked for I guess
 
Starters play Special Teams around the league, especially when the unit is struggling. The issue I have is when the CB unit is as thin with talent as it is, you have to draw the line on using your #1 CB.
 
I can understand Davis playing special teams, but I can't understand Smith.. The guy cant tackle for crap anyways.. Please keep him off Special teams..
 
I don't know why a team with thin depth would play their number 1 corner, someone who is potentially, and for the good of the team needs to be, a star of the defense on ST coverage. Just really dumb. I don't think there's any excuse for it. I wouldn't want Dansby out there either.
 
this regime saved roster spots for supposed special teams ace trusnick
and some other awful linebacker with the bloody nose .
kept moore and wallace, hillard, marvin mitchell use carrol crap will allen if u have too but not davis or smith..

it seems like every controversial thing this regime does it completely backfires
like god is giving signs to ross ok you see the signs?
This keeps up the stadium will be Sodam and Gomorrahed..
 
i started this same thread in preseason.. What a joke.. why isn't Revis or Asomaghua (sp) on special teams. oh wait, i know, even though they might be pretty good on them, THEY ARE TOO IMPORTANT to lose

This regime is turning into a total joke.
 
Is it just my imagination or does VD, seem to be injury prone?
 
Sean Smith was playing ST too...

Only in Miami do you see both starting corners playing Special Teams...

You guys are worse than FOX News. Where do you come up with this stuff? Starters play ST all the time....on every team, even good starters. Its starting to sound like you guys are tyring to come up with every excuse possible to be mad at out staff, regardless of if its true or not.

It's a VALID reason to be mad at our staff.

We now have Nolan Carroll starting in Vontae's place.

And no, I don't know of any other team with both starting corners playing special teams...Please name one...

Clay Matthews plays ST
Nnamdi Asomugha played ST in Oakland
I could list dozens more...

If you want to call out Sparano for playing starters on ST, then you are also calling out coaches like Bill Belichick and Mike McCarthy.
