The guy looks like he's done. He's all packed up and ready for Mississippi.

Further proof... check out his stats... very telling of how his season has panned out.

Started off hot as he was fresh and his aging body was still not banged up. (1st four games had nice stats)

Then after their bye week, he took a nosedive south. (Four game stretch of an average QB rating in the 60s)

Then when the Jets were hot, beating Titans and Pats, the Favre of old was back. Scary site to see as a Fins fan. (3 straight games with a QB rating in the 100s)

In the last four games of the Jets season, the performance of Favre has been nothing short of a disaster. Unfortunately for the Jets, the defense also began playing poorly and the team lost 3 of 4. (Shouldve been 4 of 4 with that late escape vs Fluffalo)

Favre's stats in his last 4 games... 1 TD/6 INT with a completion % in the 50s and a QB rating in the 50s as well. Just horrendous. And his arm strength, which looked rocketlike at the beginning of the season, now looks like a sail boat gliding through the air.

well if hes feeling its gonna be his last game hes gonna put his *** into gear for it then

I know this is an absurd thought on several levels, but from the tone of his voice it almost seems like he doesn't really care what happens this weekend.

This isn't the same Favre that throws snowballs at his teammates and high 5s the refs in Green Bay. Seems like he's 2 or 3 more hits from calling it a career.

i think his heart will always be in Green Bay.. He doesnt care about the Jets. He wants to hide from the New york media.. and Mississippi is the perfect place for him

Good news, now J. Peezy and company hit the MoFo in the mouth a few times and lets get this game over with!

Wow. That interview sounds like a guy making a retirement speech....

"This team brought me in here to win football games, and that what I tried to do." (past tense)

"I think it's been a wonderful career."

"There are some things obviously that the team probably needs to think about, as far as next year's concerned." Like finding a new quarterback?

He's done.

Allow me to enlighten you all. Brett Favre will announce his retirement at the end of this season. In the off season he will beging a heavy regiment of physical rehab that will include inducing large amounts of HGH into this system. He will wait till June to annouce his unretirement, only after he has cleaned his system of any evidence of steroid use. The Jets will happily delude themselves that it will be better this time around and they will force whoever their new head coach is to play him for another season. Brett's body will begin showing it's age around week 8 this time around. The Jets, if they are lucky, will squeak out an 8-8 season.

Good, I want his old as* punished! I want to hit him so bad that he can't even think about coming back next year without thinking of this game.

I dont want to count my chickens before they hatch, but If I was a Jet fan I would not want this guy in my team. I think his arm is injured and they are being hush hush about it. The guy looks like crap. It is not just Farve the Jets all look and sound like crap and I think are not into this game. You hear the way are team speaks and its like if this game is our superbowl.

I cant help but believe this is all just a ploy by the Jets playing possum. Not the losing but the mentality this week. Farve saying maybe his arm is wearing out just so he can come out smoking our DB's in the 1st qtr.

Sparano!!! Get us ready for the best possible Jets team and lets whoop that a**

He talks like it's over but I don't believe it.
The Fins will have to play very well to beat the Jets, don't forget that is the only team in the division we haven't beat.
I don't trust the "I may have a shoulder injury crap"
KC moved the ball against our D what makes us think the Jets can't do that.
If Crowder doesn't play, look out.

You think he looks defeated now......wait till you see him Sunday night. He will be in tears if he is physically capable of crying after the beating he will take.

Im so tired of hearing this. I dont know if you saw the game but in case you did not. Both defenses struggled due to icy conditions on the field. They had a hard time people because they had no traction to react to cuts on the field. It gave both offenses a distinct advantage. How our D performed last Sunday is not relivant to how they will perform this Sunday.
