3rd string QBs are always inactive because they get an exemption. They are allowed to come in the game but if they do the other two QBs can't come in any more

Isn't the #3 QB always listed as inactive, but they can be dressed and play in an emergency situation?

Feeley is inactive -- but dressed. He's the 3rd QB so he's the 'emergency' QB -- it does not count on the 'active' roster but he can still play if required. However, I believe if he goes in before the 4th quarter, he can't be replaced by one of the other QBs unless he himself is injured. emergency QB rules are a little strange.

Yeah they're strange. I didn't know about the rules until last season when the announcers were talking about it. I don't remember what game it was but we had both Fiedler and Feeley hurt in the 2nd or something. Feeley played it out though and we didn't need Sage.

I believe that was the Seattle game, where Feeley took over for most of the rest of the season. As for the number 3 QB inactive rule, that is probably why Feeley did not come into the game against the Panthers during hte NFC championship....although I think he would have started the next week had they won.

They put Kiwaukee Thomas as Kiwaukee Mitchell lol! I wonder why Jackson got activated when Thomas has been playing for 5 years and has extensive exp. in the Nickel and Dime. Things that make you go hmm!

So we only have two active QBs? This could be a bad move and I hope we do not do this week in and week out because 2 QBs going down in one game is not unheard of.
