Did M.Leinart make a mistake staying in school for his senior season?? He is falling down the chart, and for what another title?? Is a NCAA title worth losing Millions of dollars?? So far "today" I've heard Bush,Cutler and Young could all be drafted ahead of him. If the teams sitting at 4-5 don't need a QB he could slip to 6th overall in the draft. There is a big difference between #1 overall and #4,5 or 6 in the draft. Matt won't win another heismen, so what has Matt gained by staying in school another year?? Hell at this rate we could have a chance at landing him. This is frikin nutts!!!

bush is the only one that could be drafted ahead of him

Maybe, still if had come out last year he would have been #1. I'll promise you he won't this year. Unless bush blows out his knee. And don't be surprised if Young comes out he goes before Matt. I'm not saying it will happen, just don't be surprised.

your right. look what happen to aaron rogers. he slipped all the way to green bay and he was the second best qb in the draft.

thats the way the cookie crumbles. Obviously the man stayed in school for bigger reasons than money. He was happy being where he was, why mess with happiness?

If that ever, ever, happened, then I believe Miami should bust a GB.... draft wise, that is.

how can you question a guy's decision to stay in school? i find it refreshing that he turned down so many millions last year to absorb the college atmosphere for another year and get his degree... besides, do you think a guy like that cares about the differential between the No. 1 salary, and the No. 3??? He'll quadruple that amount in endorsements anyway... And likely go to a better team...

I hope we can have a shot at Leinart. We can trade up for him or maybe a Rodgers like drop could send him to our spot. It'd be better for him and us. He stayed because it just seemed right to him. Besides, it shows character. He doesn't want to abandon guys he plays with until he has to.

Ummm, at the level of money being made these days, I doubt he stayed in school for the happiness. I think he got big eyes for another heismen, stupid move if you ask me. A.Griffin is the only two time Heismen winner. it's two hard to repeat. Also I think Matt was having second thoughts afte Norm Chow left.

I'm not questioning his staying in school for the sake of staying in school, but I honestly don't believe it was for that reason he stayed.

a) i doubt he cares about the heisman
b) he enjoys the college lifestyle, that's very apparent
c) he's put up better numbers since chow left
