Who should start against SD?? Sage looked awesome out there today and I think we should start him. This game will be a hard one for us. And we need Ronnie, Ricky, and CC to have a great game.

Miami 28 SD 27

if gus can go, ide like him to play. ive seen thiese flashes of sage end up in smoke before.

I'm going to the game, and I would much rather see Sage starting.

I'd rather see an implosion of biblical proportions (like two weeks ago) or an incredible performance (like today) than monotonous mediocrity (like Gus's entire career). Sub-mediocrity, I should say.

It's a good question. On one hand, Sage played well today, on the other hand, he played against a Buff team that dropped into coverage and applied no pressure. There is always the risk of getting swooned by one game and then ending up with a performance like the one we saw last time we started him.

Start Lemon and Ricky...I don't think it will matter.

dont rush yourself, based on performance id have sage slightly starting over gus which means saban would start gus, but after gusses injury i think sage should start, give it a couple games though.....

You maybe right, but Sage played with confidence today, I like the fact that he was confortable and solid!

How can anyone root for Gus to play? We KNOW he's not good. He's never, ever been good.

The Bills had to respect Sage's arm more and when they did blitz (the second and third Sage drives) it didn't work as well, because Sage threw faster and moved in the pocket.

It wasn't like Gus got entirely different conditions than Sage, that's just apologizing. Sage did very well and Gus... did not.

Gus was knocked out, I don't know how the coaching staff will play this, but playing the way the Phins did today will get the Phins beat by 30 by a good team like San Diego. I think Saban will not give away who is starting, but I think Sage will get most of the reps because seeing Gus on the field with eyes closed was a scary sight, regardless if you want Sage to start.

He did get entirely different conditions. Sage got an O-line that blocked. Gus didn't. With the hit Gus took, I doubt he'll be ready for the SD game.

It's funny how everyone's opinion is changing on Sage. Just a few weeks ago he was guaranteed to be gone after this year.
