Saban is a natural and knows perfectly well what he is doing...Saban will get his man at QB and other positions

If Jay threw it, there's a good chance after it misses the barn, it'll miss the ground too when it lands.

The broad side the short side, Jay's ball didn't come any where near the barn, well, not a barn wearing a Dolphins Jersey... but jay's completion % to the opposition was flawless!

A mastermind, no doubt. I truly feel we will be a top contender for years to come. We have a great program starting here, can't wait for next season!

Dave never had any cards.....never had a plan......Saban has a plan...we will see if it is a good one or not

Back when Jimmy Johnson took the leap of faith with Dimitrius Underwood, Minnesota's 1999 first round draft bust,
it was clear the troubled defensive end, was a loose cannon, and I remember wondering if JJ had assigned anyone on the staff, to monitor the young rookie, in hopes of keeping the guy out of trouble, and delaying his inevitable implosion for at least a season worth of production. Apparently nobody was available when the guy tried to shish ka bob himself in he neck with a couple of steak knives.
Its doubtful anyone short of a sherriff, could of salvaged a crime free season out of our other bad apple project, Lawrence Phillips, while I think even I could of steered our other socially challenged player, Cecil the Diesel, clear from his neighbors open window, let alone from crawling through it.

Saban otoh, appears to be taking a pro active approach in assigning John Gamble, to be assistant to the head coach in charge of player development, whom I suspect will be his
off-the-field liaison of player conduct.
Almost as if he's getting his house in order for somthing, or someone...

We expecting any incoming pariahs?


New role for assistant: Saban said he promoted strength and conditioning coach John Gamble to a new role to help players with off-the-field issues. Gamble's title is assistant to the head coach in charge of player development.
"It's important to give people personal support in every endeavor — whether it's social issues or psychological issues," said Saban, who noted that assistant Bert Hill would serve as strength and conditioning coach. "Whatever it is so they have the best psychological disposition to be able to perform well — that's one of the areas we want to be state-of-the-art in."
