In day 1, McNown, Wilford, Smiley, Torbor, Anderson, Starks, Ryan, Ferguson...

If we wind up with Pace...and that might be the key...
I'll be impressed. You have to be wowed at this point. We do need another corner/safety...but still wow.

Come on down Calvin...and then we have the draft.

When will we get a good idea of how this has affected our cap?

I think it all does hinge on Pace. If he leaves without signing I'm going to be pretty disappointed, and i don't even know why. I don't think he's worth what he wants at all.

its nice isn it? Hell, its even snowing here. Just like Christmas!!

After the embarassment of previous regemes here in Miami I am glad, even after a 1-16 season that players actually want to come here. Adding Parcells has given this franchise a legitimacy that we never would've garnered with Cam/Meuller.

The is one of the greatest offseasons in recent Dolphin history!

Im stoked!

Parcells and Co aint screwing around, this team is WAY BETTER ALREADY IMO. And to top it off we will be adding some IMPACT PLAYERS VIA DRAFT. this is a very exciting day for DOLFANS.

I don't think we signed anybody named McNown...mostly because he is a peson....Now,if youre talking about McCown, than yea,we signed him..

I think we should back off from Pace, honestly. Sure would love to have him, but not for that price. I'd like us to have some cap space. We still have the #1 overall pick in which we will be signing a huge contract as well. Plus a #32 which is basically a first rounder and you will get a middle to late first round talent from that player.

We should be still in real good cap space, nobody got sick money. By my guess we've probably spent 16-18 mil this year, which leaves plenty for a couple more starters. Bring on Pace and another WR please.

We have done so poorly in drafting that we needed this influx of players. Not all will start, but all are at least decent players and upgrades. Very positive. Pace will play a big part, and I still think something big is in the works such as Briggs. We will see where we go from here.

i am so not used to this...a pro-active coaching staff. what a concept.

Is that a 'perky nipple' or a person 'who jams, cuts or manipulates the wrong part of a puzzle into place'? Here's hoping it's the former. I'm all for perky nipples.

In other news, I too am pretty impressed with the signings so far. These are exactly the sorts of players I like to see a 1-15 team going out and getting. Spending big on one player who fills one problem area isn't going to be enough help the team with the worst record in the league become a playoff team. I think we'll have to be patient and see the Phins grow back to being a good team over a couple of years. Next season, I'm just looking for competitive and respectable rather than the league laughing stock.
