The problem is that we continue to have runs for losses or no gain and we are not clicking in the passing game. We also have a few penalties that cause down and distance situations that dictate pass. That leads to plenty of 3 and outs with 2 passes and 1 run. Last night 31 passes (including the Booker throw) and 14 runs. Almost exactly the 2 to 1 ratio.
Honestly, I believe that if we get in a groove, the ratio would be less lopsided. I'm not sure when we will get in that groove.
