how can we run ronnie only 8 times???

I do not understand

Gus OMG it's enought already
 
because if we run anymore they will put 8 or 9 on the front line and then we have to rely on gus which we all know doesnt work out.

Look at last weeks game against tampa, they loaded the front line and completely shut down our running game. Im sure we we're hoping to avoid that again not to mention we were behind in the score.
 
the gameplan we had on offense sucked, Our D will give up alot of points like that when there are on the field well over half the game. Frerotte needs to not start the next game, he missed Chambers wide open in the endzone and threw some other bad passes including his INT, he only had a 38% completion percentage. Time to start Sage or see what the Lemon guy can do, I hear good things about him

If Ronnie is running then we wont be relying on Gus as much. Unless you're assuming that if Ronnie had more carries that he'd be shutdown, your statement makes no sense.

Linehan is trying to run his offense. That includes slightly more passes that runs. Linehan does not seem to be adjusting to account for the Dolphins personnel.

The problem is that we continue to have runs for losses or no gain and we are not clicking in the passing game. We also have a few penalties that cause down and distance situations that dictate pass. That leads to plenty of 3 and outs with 2 passes and 1 run. Last night 31 passes (including the Booker throw) and 14 runs. Almost exactly the 2 to 1 ratio.

Honestly, I believe that if we get in a groove, the ratio would be less lopsided. I'm not sure when we will get in that groove.
 
Well we have to pass twice as much as we run. That turns Gus' 38% completion percentage into a 76%. :D
 
i think Gus has 2 more weeks of playing, then you're gonna start seeing a change in personnel. I'm not one to jump the ship though. I think sage could do just as good as frerrottes doing right now. so im not worried.
 
I think Saban puts Sage in next week to get him some easy reps against new orleans.

at what point do you expect it to be easy? when we're down by 21 in the last five minutes of the 4th quarter. No game is ever easy cause either we'll screw it up or the other team will step it up.
 
I would give Gus till the 1/2 of the NO game. If by then nothing new, then I would make a change. With this schedule, Miami will win 4-5 games at best. So lets see what Sage can do. Its not just the QB, this defence is not top notch anymore. They have given up 20 or more points in 4 games. That did'nt even happen when Wannstedt was there. And don't say its because they are tired, almost every game when the other teams gets the ball for the first time they have a long drive and score. So, if they are tired only after 5 mins into the game then something is really wrong!!!
 
In case you weren't paying attention Nick; your competition this week just showed you what to do with TWO stud running backs. Why don't you ask your defence if they felt as fresh against the run after the first 30 rushing attempts? I AM a Saban fan but any game that we as a team do not have 25+ rushing attempts should result in some serious a#*-kicking behind closed doors!I'd really like to see some pissed-off Dolphin players take that aggression out on the feild and unleash their own a#*-kicking!! Let's go Dolphins!
