honestly, a lot of Colt fans I know feel now that not playing Painter early was a mistake. Kerry Collins was brought in to hold the fort till Manning got back, but he doesn't know the system. Painter has got the offense to move a bit, but the Colts problems are the same they were with Manning; no running game and a poor OL (their top 2 picks on the OL are both hurt).
Having watched their games, the Colts aren't losing now because they are THAT bad. They've actually started playing better every week with Painter starting.
