Wow... Never Thought I'd Say This...

honestly, a lot of Colt fans I know feel now that not playing Painter early was a mistake. Kerry Collins was brought in to hold the fort till Manning got back, but he doesn't know the system. Painter has got the offense to move a bit, but the Colts problems are the same they were with Manning; no running game and a poor OL (their top 2 picks on the OL are both hurt).

Having watched their games, the Colts aren't losing now because they are THAT bad. They've actually started playing better every week with Painter starting.
 
I understand that feeling. This game was particularly brutal. This is the worst I've ever seen the Dolphins. Worse than '07. More talent, definitely, but this is a team deeply broken and full of quit.
 
I'm pretty shattered as well. It's become so predictable watching these games, especially when we are in the redzone. I never expect us to see touchdowns anymore and would be extremely surprised at this point. At 0-4 inside the 5...why are playing conservative, a coach walking on the plank should realize this. I really hope he is gone after this week, he just brings bad vibes at this point.

They have better quarterback play than Miami does. The Colts would be favored against Miami, and they'd beat Miami.

It would be an ugly game, that's for sure. I still think we beat Denver next week though. Like some sort of fluke win (ala Balt. in 07). We may even take Washington or a Campbell-less Oakland. I just don't see the Colts winning more than 1 or 2 games which puts things in the hands of strength of schedule.
 
All you have to look is where the play begins: at the line of scrimage. Pouncey snaps the ball and that's the cue for the rest of the offensive lines to act like pylons. There is no push, no resistance whatsoever coming from the line and it's pretty much been indicative of the entire team. There is no fight, there is no one playing for their teammates, there is nobody who wants to step up and hold everyone accountable. It looks like they're not trying to win anymore; they're just trying to keep the score close.
 
This was pathetic. Defense is just god awful. Had zero hope after the Jets 2nd touchdown that it was over, the fact the Jets didn't score more and settled for FG's shows how horrid they are as well. Hell QB was bright spot tonight for god sake. When Brandon Marshalls wife stabbed him did she cut his nuts off as well. Come on man go get the damn ball, do you have to come out of the game everytime you actually catch the ball. Play some damn football. Running game sucks, wr's suck, it will be a damn shame if this team wins a game. Sparano, clap for a damn FG. Yes he has done it but it gets old and just has to tick off the players as well, are they that big a bunch of pu$$y's that they need a high five because the can't nut up and run the ball for a yard, ON TWO TRY's!! They are done, the best part is the coaching staff spent two weeks preparing for this game, 2 WEEKS!!
 
The scary thing is I'm not mad......how can you get mad at a team as pathetic as this one is.......coming off a bye, with the Jets about to blow up coming off of 3 straight loses and we put that type of effort on the field.....we had the ball 3 times in the RZ in the first quarter and came away with two fieldgoals and a pick 6.....lol......I wouldnt fire Sparano why should he be put out of his misery........make him suffer like the rest of us.....wow I kinda feel sorry for them....can you imagine going to work 0-5? not one player made a play out there, I dont ever remember seeing a team play a full game and no one makes a play........Marshall came the closes until he ran out of bounds with only the endzone in front of him WTF!!!!! lol I feel sorry for them.....
 
Oh yea and I almost forgot that Defensive front, those guys shoulld have to give there paychecks back......Sanchez has been running for his life the last 4 weeks and we never put a glove on him until 4 minutes left in the game........not one guy beat one on one blocking.......

I agree this is the slowest, unathletic DL I have ever seen. My god these are supposed to NFL guys. Wake looked like he had concrete shoes on with a pulled hammy. This team has no heart. Maybe I'm spoiled because living in Iowa the Lion's are on every Sunday now and THAT's a DL! Slow out of Shape DL that are on the field for 3/4 of every game spells O for 2011 in the win column. Don't even get me on the secodary, Smith is an embarrassment, plays scared and has no hands. What they saw in him ....I don't know. Sad just sad.
