Anytime you replace a GM or HC you're taking a gamble. Not one single person comes with any kind of guarantee of success, but the goal is to achieve greatness, not to hold fast to the mediocrity that has defined us for half a decade. So you assess, and if what you have doesn't appear to be working (as is the case with the Dolphins), you interview, you decide who might be your best option, and you move forward and you hope that this time you made a better decision than last time.

Good luck with that. Might as well start all over right now and suck bad for one year with a bunch of rookies/2nd year guys playing key positions. The money has already been spent. Why keep Grimes when he will demand 9-10 mil at least and he is 31?

Why retain anyone? They let their coach down. They couldnt tackle and they couldnt catch a damn ball when it was right in their mits!

Grimes did not let anyone down. He earned his pro bowl appearance.
