He had a nice SOLID game. Expect many more.

Also, very nice game for Bess.

All right, here's the flipside:

Ginn had 4 catches for 30 yards and it's considered a major leap forward. At least he didn't have any embarrassing drops.

Bess was good, his solid hands are back. But I'm still not doing backflips over him.

Hartline- it's rare that I'll see a 36 yard completion and feel a little bummed about it. Dude looked so slow after the catch. I'm starting to think that he'll be a career backup or marginal starter at best. He has some very good qualities, but he only has so much physical talent.

Cam- missing in action.

It was a win and a good game. It's also lucky for us that Delhomme continued to play like a hack last night. I'm not trying to be a bummer, but a win and RW running great doesn't change the situation regarding our WR's- it's a below average group that is in dire need of a playmaker. Or two.

I hate Ginn.

No really I don't I was going to start a thread but it would just be a waste of cyberspace! ha.

He had a better game. Now catch 10 for 110 yards and TD.

He played good, why would anyone criticise a player that plays well?

(Unless it's Henne, right?). :rolleyes2:

He was great on returns too. I was impressed with Teddy. What happened to Camarillo?

I guess maybe he was double covered all game?

he did whats expected of him nothing more. ill back him as long as hes moving forward. he definitely was a factor in our victory.

As Matt Millen said some guys don't mature as fast as you think they are going to. Ginn's issue with his coaches was his commitment to the game. Maybe Ginn finally realised he has to step it up when Ronnie went down. Let's hope so!

ginns problem is dropping the ball, if he can fix that he can be one of the best in the league.

I hate Ginn too but yeah your right no hating on Ginn this week. If he keeps it up and either do as good or better.... hell people might like him...

I think it probably has more to do with the fact that they never asked him to run across the middle of the field on any pass routes. :d-day: :chuckle:

LOL. Because of that decent performance last night, I'm going to still wear his jersey to the Phins/Bills game next weekend.

I say 1 playmaker. You get a #1 WR and this WR core will be fine. Throw the #1 in there with either Hartline or Cam on the opposite side (whichever one ends up being more consistent), and leave Bess in the slot where he belongs. Thrown Ginn out there on 4 WR sets (if he is on the team next year) and keep him as your kick returner.

I feel like we are thinking the WR core has more issues than it really does. You would see a big difference if we had just 1 more guy (with that guy being a true #1). Believe me, alot of teams would love to have Bess in the slot and teams would be fine with Hartline or Cam as their #2. Cam catches everything thrown his way but is pretty darn slow. Hartline gives you a little more speed but is not as polished as Cam. Regardless, a #1 WR is all we need. Go get Boldin and this team and Chad Henne will be fine for years to come.

they actually threw him some screen plays to let him catch an easy pass and try to run with it...he made that catch on his leg and his returns gave us good field position. Teddy gets 10 days off of criticizm this week.
