I bet McIntosh is throwing a hissy fit. *Stomping foot* "You told me you wouldn't pick up another LT! You big fat liar! Poopie head Saban!"

I don't buy that article as being accurate considering that Wade Smith has been moved to center & Vernon Carey is slated to challenge Damion McIntosh & John St.Clair.

Heres how i see the offensive line will be in 05

LT Anthony Alabi
LG Jeno James
C Ben Wilkerson or Rex Hadnot
RG Vernon Carey
RT Stockar Mcdougle

We will pick up wilkerson soon dont worry

He's got tools, but I see him as a project at this point. He won't start as a rookie. He's got to improve his footwork and learn to transition his strength from the weight room to the football field. I believe he will spend a season as a reserve that doesn't get activated, but it will be a season to work with Coach Houck and Coach Davis on technique and Coach Gamble and Coach Clark on transferring his strength.

Yeah, I agree. I was just pointing out that the paper said he could challenge. I just thought it was interesting.

to echo KB's point, i can't see a rookie O-lineman starting at LT (the most dangerous and most needed O-line position), and being effective. We have veterans that can't play LT, so why is a 5th round rookie going to excel there?

didn't Houck coach a 7th rounder and made him a starter last year in SD?
Yes. He was a RT from Ohio State Shane Olivea

When can we start signing UFA`s?

Is it Immediate?

Well he looked good on flilm and the games I saw him play in, but now he has JT, Carter, D. Bowens, Holiday, and the rookie to practice against, we'll know if he has the right stuff.

Yes. If you look below you'll see some have already been signed...just not by us. Keep refreshing the page and it will always update since its a newswire.
