Wow, Vinnie is quite the Homer.

hate to say it, but he didn't state anything thatseems off. Pit. is the champ, we have a lot to prove after drastic changes, but I believe we get this win.
 
Nothing mis-stated in that article, until we knock them off, IF we knock them off, they are the SB Champs and you can't take that away from them. I would be dissapointed if Vinny said otherwise. Just because we are psyched up and feel good about our team, doesn't mean we have proven a thing! I'd say the homer here is the thread starter.

I hate when people say that.

They are last years champs (more luck than actual skill involved, also did they thank the refs yet?) what you did last year means nothing this year, they look terrible on paper (maybe not terrible but definitly NOT championship material) I will be very disappointed if we lose to them
 
the stupid thing was about us havin to match parkers speed

Until someone else wins the championship, they are "the champs".

If that's the case then why do you think Miami will be great? B/c they beat up SL's backups in the final exhibition game? Other than that the other games you guys didn't look great. Miami is expected to be good based mostly on the strong finish a year ago. Pitt has a reputation that has been earned over MANY years not just last year and they deserve every ounce of respect they get.

No until someone wins the championship there is no champion this year, its not like boxing where you are the champion untill someone beats you.

Its because we have a very good team THIS YEAR in my mind, last year was nice but I know it means nothing towards this year, everyone starts 0-0 and all we have to base this season on so far is paper. All that changes tonight at 8:30 though
