This time last year most of us were saying it would be nice to win 6 or 7 games, and it would take at least 3 years to be contenders. Now were all talking super bowl. That is if free agency works out ie Drew Brees and a few others Mawae (big Ted).Whata heck of a job Saban has done for us.I am so ready for this. Lets go finheads Lets do this.Go fins:dolphins:

No one is talking Superbowl just yet. We need to get Brees and a few other guys first. And it will still will be hard to beat Indy, Pitt, and NE. Anything can happen though.

Superbowl is still a bit of a reach, although is much more realistic than a year ago. You are right. There were so many question marks last year. This season, we still need to address our secondary, but if we get Adams to rotate with Wright and Traylor, and Mawae to upgrade Center and of course Brees or Culpepper, we're well ahead of last year.

I have heard plenty of talk of going to the superbowl (I have said some of it myself). We have a chance to go to the big game, just like everyone else. Indy chokes when it matters, so they are really a big concern, NE is on the decline and there is nothing that they can do that Saban hasn't already thought of... heck, odds are good it was his ideas that made them as good as they were. Pitt is how I am worried about... they proven they can win at home and on the road and they look to get out of FA with most of their starters.

Sorry my friend but I'm not talking super bowl just yet!!

Let's get to the playoffs first then build on that!!

I understand everyone being optimistic and I wish for the best
but there are other teams looking for the same players that we are
and some of those teams have much more money to spend.

Either way it should be an exciting season for sure and
EXCITING is something that I miss with the dolphins and something that COACH has brought back to us!

Scuba Steve, damm you. Just an inside joke from the movie Big Daddy. Anyways, the Fins will be a threat in the next few years.

I'm so glad we got over the rebuilding phase so dang fast. My cousin is a San Fran fan and I always knock his team by saying about Miami, "This is how you rebuild!" since his 49ers are in what seems there 17th year of rebuidling.

I have made mention of "Super Bowl" push... but I've qualified it by saying our immediate goal should be to return to the AFC Championship game.

While many of you think returning to the playoffs is step 1. I really don't see it as a significant milestone considering the improvement Nick has made in 1 year. Last year's 9-7 team (in the last 6 games) was better than Wanny's 11-5 teams. Maybe not play for play better, but you could see this team was nowhere NEAR it's potential, yet it was performing well. With Wanny's teams, you KNEW what was on the field was all the potential we had. There was nothing in the tank for further improvement.

While I'm not predicting 14-2 or 15-1. I truly believe 11-5 or 12-4 would be the "pace" of improvement we should expect this year. Then, the "polishing" in the third year could bring about the 14-2 or 15-1 season.

At 11-5/12-4, we're simply more than just a playoff team.... we should be staring at a bye and one step away from the AFC Championship.

Which is the hump we've been on for over 2 decades.

It's not that I am playing Madden when I speak this... I honestly believe the "monster" that Nick is building is just this good.

We have a Free Agent buzz around the league like we have not had in years. And that only comes from players spreading the word. That's a sign of very big things to come. If players are buying into Nick's system and they respect it... you get that extra 10% - 15% effort week in and week out that push you over the hump.

This team is special guys.... we truly are experiencing a complete rebirth of Dolphin history.

You can try to make me backpeddle with threats of "crow"... but, I'm proud of the current state of being in Miami Football. I know I'm not the only one that knows what we have right now is leagues ahead of what we had in Wanny's best year.

It's in place. The coaching, the belief and the players are flocking to it.... don't be so "worried" that we will lose out on people we want. This is a new era... and it's a darn good one.

We have a new CBA and a great team.... time to enjoy all that's about to take place. I know I am.

For the last 5 years, Nick Saban has been regarded as the Next Great NFL Coach lying in wait. Now he is here, and he has shown what he can do.

And some of you wanted Brad Childress. LOL. The vikes will be 6-10 this year.

We are now THE place to be for all free-agents wanting a ring ahead of the $$$.

What's more, our competition is not as strong as you might think. The Colts peaked last year, the patsies peaked season before last and are on the slide, and pitt is overrated, the refs put their stamp on the Bus Farewell Victory Tour for a #6 seed that actually got in the playoffs by tiebreaker.

It would not surprise me in the least to see a Miami-Cincinnati AFC championship game next year.

I'll talk super bowl baby!! I think we do have a shot. A very good defense with veteran leadership (gotta build up the secondary though) that has proven they can be playmakers. Not as much last year, but they will be back again this year. A very promising offense, pro-bowl receiver, soon to be pro-bowl RB (maybe two), and we are gonna get a pro-bowl QB (gotta fix the offensive line), with a very solid tight end!! it's not even draft time yet, of course, so Yeah, I'm thinking SB!!! GEAUXFINS!!

I still don't see fowl play in the Steelers winning the big game. Everyone knew all year that the Superbowl would be in Detroit, and no one showed signs all year of helping Pitt win. In fact the Polomalu int. that was called an incomplete pass would have shown signs of refs favoring Indy. There are shotgun blast sized holes in your theory.
